What does that have to do with anything?

Because he’ll be on a two year contract on a phone that’s no longer supported

Do you have proof that they won't support it? I really doubt Apple would drop support so quickly, they have never done it on any of their previous iOS devices. They run their natural course over a number of years.

I don’t think that’s possible. Basically I’m getting 100gb per month for free for 2 years would you turn that down:rotfl:?

Not saying it's not a good deal, just seeing if you can make a good deal better! Offer to take a lower use tariff at a lower cost. They can only say no.

Why would apples flagship phone be unsupported inside two years? Sorry but that comment is completely untrue, they still support the iPhone 6 Plus on the latest IOS.

So all those people who bought the phone outright and then took a Sim Only Deal are worse off than me then.

It's only a good deal in the sense that a Ferrari at half price is a 'good deal', when a Ford Focus at a fraction of the price will do the same job. You are still paying nearly £600 pa for a mobile phone, when a cheaper Android phone will cost less than a quarter of that.
I think you are confusing 'want' with 'need'...
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Yes but I retain a resale value after 2 years or move to Sim Only, Macman have you seen the prices quoted online with all the providers?

Considering the iPhone 5S is still supported that’s highly unlikely.

Maybe you’re confusing superseded or discontinued (which happens with most flagship phones every year) with not supported?
