£300 for a month ? the job stopped being an option when they took 3/4 of my wages..im the only earner and we have no savings so they leave me little option but to find a weekly paying job and fast.Rent alone is 500+
FGS! If you'd waited until today, you could've been paid this afternoon!
The job stopped being an option because you're too proud (or stubborn) to communicate effectively with your employer.
For clarity, who cares what your rent is?! - you've been told how many times that you wont be evicted tomorrow for not paying your rent on time?!0 -

You keep saying that they have 'taken' your wages - they have taken an overpayment that you were NOT entitled to. If you would have lost the attitude then this situation may have been handled differently. Your rent is NOT your employer's issue0 -

I came here to ask if they could deduct a large amount without letting me know,at NO POINT have i disputed that i owed them for the time i had off.You keep saying that they have 'taken' your wages - they have taken an overpayment that you were NOT entitled to. My question was can they deduct money without notice? simple really...you'd think.:beer:0 -

I think you are still totally missing the point. Most of this appears to not be a deduction at all - for anything! It is not paying you for work that you have not yet done because they believed you had quit. How hard is "no I haven't quit. Look, here I am in work"? Unless, of course, you haven't turned up to work. Apologise. Sort it out. Talk to them. Unless good jobs are ten a penny in your area and you'll have one tomorrow. Because you won't be getting any benefits when the employer tells them you walked out!I came here to ask if they could deduct a large amount without letting me know,at NO POINT have i disputed that i owed them for the time i had off.

So did you or didn't you quit?????
If you did quit, then of course they can deduct the money for work you are yet to complete and sick days.
Mots of this problem seems to be of your own making and inability to communicate effectively.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
