That link has saved me ferretting about for the Bristol one, which comes up first. There always used to be one in Guildford, as well, which doesn't appear to be on the list, and if the name of it pops into my head I will post it ...

Charlotte3, If I was you I would write to all sorts of companies asking them for freebies! Just explain what you have done and about the goodie bags that you are making and ask them whether the would be prepared to offer any free products to include in the bags - I work for NHS Direct (on maternity leave at the moment) in your area actually! and on occasions we have sent out carrier bags/balloons/badges/pencils to local schools or play groups etc... I know there is a spending freeze on at the moment but if you are interested in contacting someone and seeing if they want to offer anything then I can PM you an email address??

Also in the past I have personally written and asked lots of other companies to donate freebies in return from free advertising... The mayflower theatre in Southampton used to donate tickets and I can't remember the details but lots of museums and leisure centres etc have sent money off vouchers before (it fills the bags up and is good for half term??) I also got red bull and golden wonder to give us freebies, not really very good for the kiddies! lol! but just try ANYTHING! You might be surprised at the replies you get....!

    HTH :)

Thanks Rachie!! You have got me thinking now! I will pm you for the email address..

Update by the way... I have found some cheap friendship bracelets and some nice fluffy pens and light up pens so far on ebay and that's spending less than half the original budget! Also going to ask the main teacher invlolved if he can print off a good photo of the event for each bag. I might ask the teachers to sign the back too if I am feeling cheeky! Would have been nice to put it in a frame, but that is working out to pricey.

Just got to find some cheap sweeites now!!! Ideas anyone?
