  • Can any one help with a query I have?

If I swop some vouchers for the clubcard big exchange today will I get an email with the relevany code?

The checkout page seems to suggest that they would be sent to me which is obviosuly useless if it ends today!

  • I too have had problems at the checkout online and not being able to buy products. Have tried various customer service numbers and either engaged or a voice tells me service unavailable. So don't think I will be getting the double rewards before the deadline today. We all need to stick together and make our voices heard so tesco take note.
  • 9.58pm on the eve of the voucher redemption deadline. I've been trying for 4 hours to redeem my vouchers. The site keeps falling over, and the worrying thing is that having entered £150 worth of vouchers to redeem (to make the £300 min charge) the site now says I haven't entered enough to cover it. I tried to go in again and got a huge error message saying the vouchers had already been used so couldn't be used!! So which black hole have they fallen in to. No doubt by the time I get through to anyone the laptop I want will be out of stock - what a shambles - very poor on Tesco's part.

As a PR/marketeer and journalist I can't understand either why they set a deadline for a massive event on a day when the phones aren't manned (in the evening at least). Maybe they don't want to face the backlash. :(

    Beware of the T&C's.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to buy a £30 gift from the toy dept of Tesco Online. I was offered the Big Exchange. I was delighted. I submtted £15 of vouchers.

However, it took ages for the return email with the relevant codes for the checkout.

During this time the item became out of stock. What a con.

I cannot convert back to points. Basically I have to spend the vouchers before the 5th on something I dont want.

Why does it take 48 hours to convert? It seems to me that this increases the chance of clubcard points being 'lost' from the system.

I think I'll buy the CEO something for his Xmas. Any suggestions?

For online orders, it would have cut out so much hassle had they had a Clubcard Coupon Redemption Payment option and simply credited 2x the coupon value against the order total.

I also exchanged vouchers to buy a particular mobile phone. I only decided to get ecoupons as my previous order had been such a faff! Yes, you've guessed it, the phone (and it's closest alternative went OOS almost at the moment I put it in my basket :-( and they have both been OOS ever since.
I called Customer Services and have been bounced between them and clubcard, getting told various things, including that I would be sent a money card for the full amount (told this TWICE!!) I sent and re-sent the emails with all details just like I was instructed and only got stock reply.
Today, finally got to speak to someone and I have now been told that "sorry, but no money card etc etc, we will recredit your points to your account, you will get them in January" The girl I spoke to was very pleasant and relayed my unhappiness and dissatisfaction to her team leader when requested, but ultimately I've got no phone and my carefully planned budget is shot to pieces!!
Please don't point out that I am really no worse off, I already know that, but I'm just so mad about this. I would never have told my older daughter that she could have this expensive phone as her big Christmas gift, as it was beyond my budget. Using up my points on the double up exchange seemed to be the answer, but clearly only if you actually can use your exchange vouchers.
Did anyone get a money card to use instore??
