I feel I've been 'had'.I exchanged for Tesco Direct computer vouchers.(Hadn't used them before).Chose what I wanted (ebook reader)and tried to pay with the vouchers.It seems that they don't count against my item...Having entered them I can't get them back and I don't want anything else from the computer dept.
I have looked closely and the ebook reader is definitely included in the offer.
The only other thing I can think of is the 'minimum spend'.I found one ref to minimum spend on the Tesco website,but despite my best efforts I can't find a page with any detail . (ie the min spend on computers is £300 ,or similar).As an experiment I added an expensive computer to my basket , the vouchers were applied no trouble and I was requested to pay the extra by card.
Anyone got any advice as to how to reclaim my vouchers?:mad:
I have now been told 2 different things
1.there is something wrong with my codes and I should send them back for reissue (telephone sales person)
2.the website can't cope and I should wait til after 9pm (tesco Direct technical person)
So take your pick either way...................
Looks like Tesco website and Direct staff were not prepared for the response and don't really know what is going on.0 -

The only thing that springs to mind that you didn't mention - Exchange token value mustn't be more than the item value - not including delivery.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

Do Tesco's sell Perfume and Aftershave on line? because i cant find any on their direct website, but they do sell it in the shop, does anyone know?

Beware of the T&C's.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to buy a £30 gift from the toy dept of Tesco Online. I was offered the Big Exchange. I was delighted. I submtted £15 of vouchers.
However, it took ages for the return email with the relevant codes for the checkout.
During this time the item became out of stock. What a con.
I cannot convert back to points. Basically I have to spend the vouchers before the 5th on something I dont want.
Why does it take 48 hours to convert? It seems to me that this increases the chance of clubcard points being 'lost' from the system.
I think I'll buy the CEO something for his Xmas. Any suggestions?0 -

I have been trying like many others to redeem my vouchers before the rules change, but when trying to get to the checkout, the webiste cannot display the page.
I called customer services, and was told it was due to high volumes of users, and has been a problems for some time, the agent even said that it took her 5 days to get to the check out screen, and she finally suceeded last Tuesday.
I asked if as a result of the problems Tesco were going to extend the period to allow us all to redeem the vouchers, but was given an answer that basically said "you have had 6 weeks so if you miss out for trying so late it not our problem"
I am sure I am not the only person that is going to miss out, and if I am sceptical would suggest its in Tesco's interests not to increase the capacity the website can handle as it will save them money in the long term.
Tesco is not treating its customers fairly and if this problem has been known for a number of days should have taken action.
I am sure if we get enough comments on this forum that we can persuade them to change thier current hard line of "tough you have had a enough time"

Had similar problems as other users in converting vouchers...page freezing...vouchers rejected...and finally at order confirmation stage, all my vouchers were thrown out and then classed as 'used'
After several phone calls, came upon a very helpful Supervisor in Clubcard dept. She unlocked all of my vouchers there and then, and I was able to re-input them all and finally get an order confirmation.
So, it's a case of 'just keep trying' and try and keep the blood pressure down!0
