QDR letters after parking at work!

Will do, he should be in tomorrow unless he's on ANOTHER holiday
If he isn’t in then you could (if you tee it appropriate) leave a hand written letter for him explaining the situation and asking him to cancel the charges.
If you were not the driver write to the parking firm and tell them who was so they CANNOT hold you liable. The person who was driving the car is responsible so let them deal with it. Not you! Don’t let people with an agenda tell you otherwise.

Thanks for the glimmer of hope, the PCN's are currently at £236 EACH. Considering I get around £50 after tax per shift, it's quite a lump if I'm forced to pay. How do I get them to discontinue? Would it be them that took me to court, or would it be this QDR company? Also, if it went to court, would a judge side with me considering I was in work at the time?
You have more than a GLIMMER of hope! It's dead easy to beat CEL in the end. We win EVERY defended case v CEL.

Don't ask how to get them to discontinue. Read how, by searching 'CEL discontinued' or 'CEL discontinuance'. We've had half a dozen ended this month already, and not a single person has had to go to any hearing.

Please don't follow misleading advice from any niggly poster who carries a misleading signature that actually tells posters to admit who was driving. Make of it what you will!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

umm , because this is pre POFA2102 and there was no obligation IN LAW to name the driver

please , please go back to reading , even if its the beano ,

PS: in this case its flucking obvious who the driver was , the guy that drove thu the entrance , and signed the security sign in sheet , whilst at the same time stating a different VRN number
How do you know it’s pre-POFA? It sounds like it’s a recent PCN.

Why would you not identify the driver if it wasn’t you? It fully discharged that PCN from RK liability, why should the RK have to deal with a PCN that they haven’t even had anything to do with? Let the person who driven the car deal with it! It’s clearly the Money Saving option so it is frustrating for me to understand why others do not see it. Instead the advice seems to be spend loads of time researching about PCN’s and writing massive appeals. It just doesn’t seem right when the driver can be doing this work. It also helps if it goes to court and the judge asks “who was driving”.

But thanks for being respectful instead of abusing me like some others do.
It's only four days since you asked exactly the same question.
Have you forgotten the answers already?

To remind you, on 15 January you asked:
Can you explain to me why nominating the driver when it wasn’t you driving is nothing but the most logical thing to do to achieve that Money Saving outcome that this website promotes?
    ... and I responded:

    I can explain that.

If there is no way that the PPC can hold the keeper liable, then the real Money Saving outcome is to ensure that the driver doesn't have to part with any money either.

A win for both the driver and keeper. What could be better?

You , however, were still struggling to understand:
If you were not the driver then why would you waste any time dealing that the fake PCN? Time is money, spending hours researching about parking charges and wading through newbie threads and POPLA appeals is totally unnecessary when in law you can discharge all liability by naming the driver with a 30 second email.
Again I pampered to your request:

It's been said many times before but I guess you missed it.

If the driver and keeper are friends, maybe partners, then why would one of that partnership betray the other? For the sake of a little time?

I guess it depends on one's values of friendship.
It is quite clear what value you place on such relationships, but perhaps you should try and understand that others may have different values.
It appears you are still having difficulty understanding that others have friends.

I'll do that, thanks. Should I speak to the store manager tomorrow, or just go ahead with sending letters to CE? Thanks for taking the time to reply

Speak to the Store Manager and ask to see the sheets that they keep of this data they collect, because it is covered by the Data Protection Act and should be safely stored. Such data must also be correct, and collected and used responsibly for the purpose it was collected.

If they just bin the sheets with hand-written VRNs all over them, they are in breach of the DPA and have also been negligent, in causing you to get a PCN and not keeping the records they should have done. Might be something to keep back to say later in the conversation, if he/she is unhelpful.

    But re this:
I've received 3 letters today from QDR explaining that they will be moving onto legal action.

Search for & read other QDR threads to see how to reply, as they sound like non-compliant LBCs.

suggest going higher than store manager , coz it sounds like he is not upto speed , you need further up the food chain (tesco?) , ie: you require copies of security sheets handed in the day that you informed them of change of VRM
