N Power (old rim liberty 100 meter problem)

Hi everyone,

I’m on npowers online 2018 fixed electricity tariff. I live in a 1 bed apartment but my bills are 144 a month after billing and I give reads. Had anyone had a problem like this???

£s are meaningless, it is kWh that count.

  • I use one storage heater and I am only in the apartment at night so the bill seems high as if the meter is rising fast

You need to go to the their user profile.

You may need to change from default forum skin, to the old, green one that works properly to see it.

OP, dont forget that the day and night readings are on button 6( thanks to Robin9 who put me onto this button ) on Secure Liberty 100 smart meters.
It is a smart meter but most likely now in "dumb " mode with Npower so will need you to input meter reads to Npower.
These meters switch over very accurately at the correct time but like all non smart digital meters they can have their day/night reads mixed up

OP Lokking at your previous posts I see that you had a Smart meter fitted by Eon in May 2017 (replacing a prepay)

What was your consumption - in kwh not £ - while you were with Eon?

I presume you then swopped to nPower . In 2018 there were significant increases in electricity charges.

Your meter then ceased to become Smart and hopefully you have been submitting readings at least monthly to nPower. If not you will have had a succession of estimated readings.
