hi
any help would be appreciated here...
i joined cinema paradiso under the free trial scheme, having already tried few other companies. Decided to cancel with them, posted my two remaining dvds back 2 days before the deadline on August 22nd (although they allow an additional 9 days on top) and got proof of posting as they suggested.
got email from them on aug 27th saying they had not been received and if they had not been received by the 29th then i would be charged. i emailed back saying that since the 29th was a bank holiday then they would not be received then and that they had been posted with proof of posting etc
no reply until i got an email today saying they had taken £20 out of my account as a late fee. Unfortunately it was before the advice went up about paying by credit card, so it was a debit card payment.
Is there anything i can do esp as there does not seem to be any phone numbers anywhere.

Am currently using Blockbusters and can honestly say that their service has been excellent.Gav wrote:Has anyone used one of the numerous online DVD rental services such as CD WOW?
Many have special offers where the first 8 DVDs are FREE!
So join...watch the free films...cancel membership...join another!
Has/does anyone do this? Which online retailers have the best offers?
A free one month trial offering 3 DVDs at a time is available using code: zaaj56 - valid until 31 December 2005
