Hi all,

Month runs from 31st January - 27th February
Budget is £275
Hoping I’ll hit this as last month I was over by £30 but it was a LONG month. Hopefully I will come under this month.
Today I have spent nothing!February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
NST no. NSD 4/150 -
£21.50 spent at the county town market this morning, on meat for us 3 omnivores for the week, cabbage, spring onions, peppers & mushrooms for all 5 of us. A little more was actually spent, on food for my Mum, but that's her budget not mine! Though I did rather enjoy a gorgeous crab sandwich with her at lunchtime... fresh local Lyme Bay crab dressed with lime mayo, on lovely still-warm malt bread from the local bakers, with a rocket salad - doing her shopping's not all hard work!Angie - GC Aug25: £106.61/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0

Have a few spends to add to total = 25p morrisons bakry
14p - 2x4pint milk
2.32 - milk and reduced chickem
98p aldi- long life milk
1.37 of that has already went onto paypal so once i have set up bank account I'm going to transfer funds and have a minus spend day :P(theres a few other bits already included in there)
My aim it to keep going with cupboards and checking reduced sections but try staying away from bakery and carbs - i do need bread but need to pick the healthier loaves or maybe gluten fee.£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am

Thanks for the mention of "Out of Milk". I seem to remember it mentioned as a good tool from years ago but never downloaded it. Have looked tonight and it looks awesome and suspect will work better for me then just a printed list. I like how it can be used on PC as well as phone as I hate typing much on phone but obviously having the information on phone is crucial for success. Looking forward to getting it all set up and pantry stocktaked and then will be good to go!
No problem! I have used it for a few years now and it has improved tremendously over that time! I love the fact I can use it on my kindle or phone and sync between them to update, just have to remember to make sure my phone is charged before shopping!!
It is a pain to set up but fab after that, I try to update daily either as I use something up or do a quick think through in the evening. Then once every couple of months I do a full stock check to catch the odd thing that got missed off!

Tales17 another thanks for mentioning the Out of Milk app. I use a different meal planning program that also allows you to have multiple lists. I can manage my monthly “stock up” or “to buy” lists in there. Your post jogged my memory.0

Happy February everyone.
will call in to bank today to pick up my "real money" for my grocery purse.
hoping for a NSD today re GC but meeting friends for cuppa so will have to spend something. However that will not come out of grocery budget.
Meeting in M&S and I know I will not be able to have a little browse for YS items. If there are any real bargains I know I will be tempted so perhaps the NSD will bite the dust.;)0 -
£34.86 on a Mr A delivery for the first day of Feb.
I only pay £1 for delivery at the moment, possibly because it!!!8217;s a new store... so cheaper than getting there!
I also find it easier to stick to my meal plan online and I don!!!8217;t have to take my youngest who ALWAYS used to ask for things and generally makes it a nightmare.
Hope everyone has a good first week!Family of 4 and a cat, trying to reduce outgoings GC JAN £225.94/£250 GC FEB £93.20/£2500 -
