Ok, I failed in January and overspent by around £50.
I have loads of stuff in freezer and store cupboard so shouldn't really have a problem this month. So for just me and my dog, I will try again for £125 for the month. This is to include all groceries, cleaning stuff and dog food. Going to try not to buy any toiletries this month as well.Grocery Challenge 2018

Finished January on just over £150 but we had an awful lot of luck with yellow sticker foods so going to aim for £180 this month .0

First spend today of £3.19 at the local greengrocer on a bunch of bananas, a red pepper and 2 tomatoes. I have to admit I did have to stifle that feeling that it would have been cheaper at the supermarket as I would like to try and support local businesses where possible. And on the plus side none of it was plastic wrapped so that's a win.
I'm doing a mini challenge to get me to use up stores so I'm not going to spend more than £7 in 7 days. I've got the all important bananas for my son and the tomatoes for a lentil shepherd's pie recipe I want to make so I should be able to make it to next week without further spends if I'm sensible.

Happy 1st of February everyone! Today was a NSD for me as I decided to skip going to my local Holland & Barrett for some items. I’m leaving on a trip tomorrow until Tuesday. Probably 80% of my food will come out of my travel budget for the next 5 days. There will be some local delicacies I’ll buy when away that I'll add to pantry (and my spends) when I return home.
Well, that’s one way to rack up NSDs :rotfl:0 -
