'If you want to get off the worst list, work at it'
Was she referring to the places, or her presenting style?!!Gone ... or have I?0 -
That glittery ensemble did her no favours.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
one life, live it!0 -
it looked like one of my mum's dresses from the 80's (not the kind thats trendy again), more like a scene from dynasty0

Didn't watch the dross, but the web-link was interesting - "lifestyle" (!!!!!! is that - isn't it what you make it?) more important than employment..? Presumably a several-hour commute helps to improve the environment (even more important than lifestyle apparently...).0

I can't watch any programme with Phil & Kirsty in! I bet they spend the first 5 mins after any break reminding you what they did before the break!! - they think we are all idiots!0

Right,
Im going to defend Hull.
Yes its rough in areas but has just undergone millions and millions of pounds regeneration.
Property has trebled if not more in the last few years.
My sister has just bought a five bed glorious victorian home on a lovely street for £200k they earn more tahn the average wage and my nephew goes to a good school. It's cheap very friendly as with all of the north.
It has a fantastic university. Reaped in sporting achievements etc etc.
It's close to a good airport which doesnt take you years to embark on your foreign jaunts. Can get to london in 3 hours if you so desire for £30 return.
I hope they keep saying that Hull is a sh"!**le because its far from it.
What more do you want? These programmes are unbelievable what is worst? Surely the majority want a nice house in a safe area, with good schools, cheap labour, services and foods with good prosepcts for jobs. Hull has all this so how it comes 2nd is beyond me. Don't get me wrong i don't live there anymore and don't regret moving but i will eventually return.
Im sorry but why would someone want to pay £500-£600k for something thats available in hull for a quarter of that.
We work in London and I feel hell of a lot more scared walkignt he streets here than i would in Hull. OUr lasses dinner lady was robbed and mugged at knife point in Finchley yesterday. Kids can still play outside and they don't lead sheltered lives like they do in London.
