From what I can see on the rightmove sold prices, the last 3 bed in your road (no. 62) sold for £120k in July 2017, while the last sale of a house in the same style as yours (No.86) went for £123k in May 2016. No. 112 has 5 bedrooms, while the other 3 bed which went for £149k in November 2016 (No. 68) seems in better state decoratively, plus better photos (and a bath!).
Think it might be price, and you might want to get used to the idea that you might lose money on this place if you want to sell it and move on...
Our house is bigger than the majority of houses around here downstairs wise
We've gutted it radiators ,boiler so potentially would like to redeem some of the money ..trust me other properties have sold for a bit more .. The cheaper houses that have sold people have lost money on them no 86 .../ 62 ....people have put them on to get rid ..in reality we cant afford the loss for our new house0 -

When I was buying a new house, anything listed as offers over I tended to avoid unless it was absolutely "the one" (lol) because I would have no idea what the price was in relation to my price banding and there is nothing more disheartening than to find that your so-called dream house is actually out of reach of your budget. Even if someone was interested at 130k, would they still be interested at your previous "Offers in the Region of" £139,950? Another form of listing that I hate and tended to avoid.
You've had the house listed for over 3 years at offers in the region of either £130k or £139,950 (I know that it could have been on and off the market in that time, but reality does not change what prospective buyers will see) all with the same agent - have you considered that they may not be working very hard at selling your house? Especially when you consider that several houses outwardly similar to yours has sold in that time. I'd say get a more motivated agent, preferably one that knows how to take photographs and stop playing all the "Offers in" games and just set a proper price.

I didn't notice the timescales. Well spotted.
I'm actually quite shocked at that. Houses don't languish for so long, unless they are overpriced or there's something drastically wrong with them or both.
No way would I stay with the same estate agent when they are so bad. Who took the photos? The estate agent or you op?0 -
For what it's worth I quite like the kitchen. I maybe wouldn't have gone for black floor tiles with those cabinets as it does make it look a bit too dark, but it wouldn't put me off buying personally. I'd probably just change the tiles to white ones after moving in to make the room a bit lighter. Perhaps that's something to consider doing now? Fairly low cost and might make a big difference to potential buyers, based on the comments so far?
I suspect the poor photo's make it look worse than it is too!0 -
what would i use to take the pics..iphone..
i know the pics are awful......0 -

It doesn't work like that though. Every house has it's price and you won't get anyone to pay more than the house is worth. Sometimes a house has a premium because it is beautiful or unique and someone will fall in love with it. Sadly I don't think your house is in that category.0 -
Is picture 3 the dining room,if so why not make it look like one rather than having what looks like another sofa and tv there.
The picture of the main bedroom looks like it needs some furniture rearrangement and possibly the wall under the window painting the same colour as the others.
When a double bed is positioned next to a wall it makes it seem as if the room isn't big enough for it,in my mind you should be able to walk round the bed without the need to enter and exit it from the same side.
I quite like the bathroom, but it is a shame that you took the bath out when you purchased.
I think you have chosen things very much to your taste within the property, which is a good thing but having such a monotone kitchen doesn't really open up the space well and it may cause some buyers to think it is an area that will require doing more to their taste.in S 38 T 2 F 50

the house had been on previously for 1 year then we took it down back on for 2 years sold buyer pulled out do to her own reason and now back on with the estate agent that were potentially buying our next house off so i was hoping that would motivate them to sell our house faster.
