Sorry - just realised the post I am referring to is about Virgin regular savers0

I see that you mention that most people on the forum open all the Leeds Regular Savers and can have 14/15 but when I go online it says "Please note that you cannot open a Regular Saver (Issue 17) if you already have a Regular Saver product with the Society, with the exception of Regular Saver (Issue 4)." I do not live near Leeds - my nearest branch is over an hour away - how is everyone doing this? I have Issue 9.Sorry - just realised the post I am referring to is about Virgin regular savers
Je reste Vortigen's valise:pFor the uninitiated, posts 952-955 appear to be referring to Virgin's regular savers, although the V word is not used in any of them.

........although the V word is not used in any of them.
so, remember if you're talking about Ford Money to use the F word .:)0 -
..which also appropriate with TSB..........although the V word is not used in any of them.

Oh woe! Just as you make an interesting & helpful point, along comes a pedantic blighter and tries to prove you wrong! If you open them all, ....... you'll finish up with 14/15 of them and have more in them than in all the other RSs put together!
So here I go:
A quick list: HSBC, FirstDirect, M&S, Lloyds, ClubLloyds, BoS, Halifax, TSB, Santander, Nationwide, YBS, Leeds (2), Saffron, Principality (3), plus all the building societies with locality restrictions, etc, etc.
YBS is a two-year account and allows £500pm. FirstDirect, ClubLloyd & a couple of the Principality accounts allow more than VM's £250pm.
So, it *is* possible to max-out the VM regular savers but still not exceed the total funds possible in all the other (mainstream) regular savers. But it is surprisingly close.0 -
I did think of adding 'Approximately' to my post but, as it was a broad assumption, I didn't, knowing full well that someone would take me to task in due course. It's good to find out that I can guess the future

Does anyone have the Saffron 3.5% Reg Saver?
Mine is just maturing and the pack they've sent me says I can re-invest the money in the same 3.5% account for another 12 months, with additional deposits of up to £200/month.
As I don't think any other reg saver does this I just thought I'd check if others had done this with them?0 -
