I sent the email appeal on the 15th of Jan to CEL and have received no response, I know in the email it gives 21 days for them to respond but is it usual for them not to have responded by now? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I have never received a parking charge and coincidentally never been threatened with court action from anybody, I think I have a right to be concerned. I was curious as to how long people would typically receive a response.
Maybe I should have made that more clear, my apologies.0 -
Hi Brasillia17, So to clarify - did you say 'yes' or 'no' to being the driver?0

Have you been threatened with court already? Who by?
If you do get as far as court it's the county (civil) court and nothing to be concerned about at this early stage

My response came from David Dunford email address but as it was written by Steve Clark, should I pursue this?
