DDs did another afternoon of crafting; so many little bits are now gone! And lovely artwork to display/give away (they also crafted for the friends they will be staying with this weekend while husband and I are at the concert). DD2 has mislaid her nice pyjama top, which I want her to wear to her sleepover. We have other tops, but they are a bit worn; the ony other nice one she is currently wearing. If I cannot locate the first nice top, I will have to do a superquick rinse of the second nice top. (so, that still happens, even though I kondo pretty much all of the time :undecided).

The last of the bodyscrub that I rescued from my ex-employer is now finished.

All summer coats washed and in the attic; all summer shoes in the attic, either for re-wear next year or in the Africa donation box.

DDs have made space for the piano; they have just piled all the toys on their desk  which is now unreachable. I will have another sort-out this weekend.

I have rearranged a kitchen cabinet. Now the frying pans are at the front, and the large bowls are at the back.

The plastic boxes and lids have been culled, as they were impeding quick taking-out-and-returning of pans and pots. Some are now in use, holding breakfast cereals (which makes the breakfast and lunch shelf look much more pleasing), three large lids have been thrown out. Those lids go with boxes I still have, but that are otherwise employed, for instance for storing all those little spice pots. They don't need their lids, and I don't theink they ever will.

This magic attic of mine...... I had heard a mouse, so I set a trap... I am now at 5 mice in 5 days!

Items were put on top of the sturdy plastic bins they belong to, due to lack of time. I better get clearing quickly!

Took down one bagforlife that husband had filled with toys and crafts when he was in a hurry to get the house clearn. Put the good toys and make-up back where they belong, binned the rest.

I'm glad your traps are working, the mice we had must have been Ninjas as they could empty the traps without getting caught!

The cheapo traps we bought from a discounter didn't work; the only thing they caught were my fingers!

The better-quality ones we bought are very good at catching mice :)

Sorted through the dress-up box: two princess dresses binned (too small and seams coming undone), 1 pair of witch tights binned, two dresses in laundry basket for careful washing and donating. Other items back in their own spot (paper, pencils and band aids (?))

Found a trial sachet of aftersun cream, which I'm now using up as night cream.

DD2 had finished her toothpaste and was trying out which one she would like to use from now on (I have about 7 different ones in stock, all free through cashback). She did not like the children's strawberry flavoured one, so I am using that one in the mornings.

I have identified a need in my wardrobe: new cycling gloves, with double leather in the palm of the hand to prevent pain when gripping the handlebars. Off I go to the cycle shop I have a voucher for :)

Out: 1 longsleeve I wasn't too fond of and was using as a nightshirt. It had developed a hole, and gives me a reason to buy proper pyjamas. 1 holey sock.
DD2's new socks that turned out itchy, into the donation bag.
1 rainsuit into the donation bag.
2 ballet leotards, 1 pair of ballet tights and ballet shoes into donation bag. I have 1 drawer for all dds' sports gear, and sorted it through yesterday.

We had a bit of a MK session and have two bags of my books etc for the CS.
After the cull in the wardrobes a couple of bin bags went off to the fabric recycling place and DH came home with the grand total of £4.40p :D
I need to get busy on eB*y now, to add to the Christmas coffers.
