    LMAO !!!!!!!

Or eat less cheese before bedtime.

The juntique shop has been in situ for nearly 50 years and has evolved several strata of clutter. As well as things which could loosely be termed Stock (past and present) there are several items of OOD tech, such as fax machines, the till before last, the microfiche reader next to the Napoleonic War bayonet next to the lump of ameythyst crystals next to the...........

Juntique shop clutter is much more interesting than the average home's clutter............. :p

:) I'm having an at-home day sorting out Stuff. Have been over to a pal's to borrow a piece of equipment and came back with some bits & bobs.

Some stuff is here temporarily (as in, will be gone in under a week) but the place is a bit.......... chaotic atm!

.....And just like thwst, my 'missing' embroidery scissors have re-materialised.
The oddest thing? I carried the item they were tucked into through airport security and they didn't show up on a scanner

Very glad I didn't replace them.

 That is so weird and a bit woo, also. Congratters on getting them back anyway, I reckon they'd been on holibobs in the 4th dimension.

Currently AWOL in my tiny flat; eating knife (gone several years), orange handled gen purpose scissors (last seen Dec 2018) and a small kitchen spatula, last seen a couple of weeks ago.

Perhaps they'll rematerialise in their own good time.....:rotfl:

DD's having a continued clearout in her room - several handbags and some old toys to CS pile, a pile of paper recycled and a carrier bag full of random things to shoebox appeal :T We've also managed to have a box of books for Z1ff1t - will send those off later. Several other sets of books listed on fb00k mktplace - money will go to DD if they sell - they're in great condition and I'm hoping someone may want some bargains for half term :)

2 tops (1 mine, 1 OH's) to recycling bag - holey and stained.

From the attic into dds' rooms for trying on: 32 (!) dresses for dd2, 1 dress for dd1, 7 trousers, 8 leggings, lots of T-shirts, some underwear, 3 cardigans, 2 jumpsuits. Now to persuade them to try them on.... DD1 simply refuses to try on anything that 'doesn't look nice', dd2 seems to put a new item on every day to wear to school (at least that gets us through the pile, slowly.....).

Ragbag: 3 pairs of husband's socks.
    Africa: 7 girl's T-shirts, 2 pairs of socks, jeggings, 2 dresses, 3 skirts, 5 pairs of shorts.

In other news: I bought a bicycle for dd1 off an auction site, selling old (our local) council material, for just €15! DD2 can have her old bike, and dd2's bike will go to Africa, I think. Or maybe I will try to sell it here. I paid €25 for it 3 years ago, and it is still in good condition.

:) Three separate bags went out for the charity shop today; usable articles, textile rag, and metal for recycling. Carefully segregated for speed sorting.

An unbeloved mug has also been binned. It was a novelty gift about 3 christmasses ago, the joke quickly grated, but it had sustained a small but prominent chip on the lower rim which stopped it being donateable.

I have had it on heavy rotation and noticed yesterday that a vertical crack has opened up from rim to base, so off it goes.

Am keeping the other slightly damaged mug in use constantly and then it will go away - I have several spares but am a beggar for using all of them before washing dishes if I have them all out - the spares are in a box on a high shelf.
