My Regular Savings Thread has vanished

Hi Folks,
I just came on to the forum to update my Regular Savings thread - the one entitled "Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!" (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/608697) and it has vanished! I just get this message "Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"
There is still a link to it on Crabman's sticky at the top of the savings and investments forum so hopefully it has not been intentionally removed.
I am contacting the moderators to find out what has happened to it!

I noticed this too.
They'll be a revolution if its not resurrected!
Fingers crossed its just a mod with finger trouble and it can be brought back. I did notice some non helpful toing and froing posts this afternoon
Let us all know how you get on - stacks of us appreciate your days of work maintaining this and so am sure would be very keen on supporting any MSE communications.
Thanks again SS0 -
Has it reached some kind of post or view count limit which has sent it into meltdown?"In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0

Hope it makes a comeback. A very useful thread for many of us on here.
I wonder if a mod was editing the thread and pressed the wrong button at the end - the last 20 posts or so became off topic...:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

I bet its the same reason that my thread and also a Sealed Pot challenge disappeared.
Speak to MSE Andrea, and see if they can resurrect it, but my thread and others could only recover the first three posts..
I have sent a email on your behalf as a board guide. I will keep you updated.
Good luck.

Just in case not recoverable, may be worth saving a copy of the details from a cached link (if you don't have locally), e.g.

Scary, isn't it.
A thread that has grown over 10+ years to about 350 pages and has been viewed over a million times can vanish at the click of a button!
Hope MSE can get it back again otherwise Special Saver 2 won't have anything to do at the weekends.Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0 -

You can also get to a cached version on Google Chrome by searching with the Google search engine.
You can get to a specific page by searching with the following (in italics below) using page 347 as an example. The correct search result should be near the top and you can access the cached version by clicking on the small down arrow.
MSE Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List page 347
You can also click on the link below to a cached version of page 346.

We can all view the thread, but cant comment.
I tried to play around with the posts to see if I could move them to a new thread, but I can only do this per page, and its would take me an age.
I may though be able to do from the beginning of January and the first page with the links on it..
If this is an alternative then let me know.

I've been of the view for a long time that the thread needs to be restarted. All that needs is the first posts to be copied over if necessary and a link to the old thread. No other posts need to be copied {especially as most of the posts this month have been off topic}.We can all view the threadDid you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0
