I've got a leek, some celery n a sad onion in the fridge, so will make soup later .A bit random I know , but it's so tasty"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I'd bought/frozen some bread rolls, I'd defrosted one about 2 days ago.... so it needed to be eaten. I just toasted it and spread it with jam
I'd defrosted it, thinking I'd serve my stew with toasted bread as a side dish.... but then dumplings ended up being cooked every time. I've had nine dumplings now since Friday
Stew's all eaten...
Later it's probably sausage rolls, last two in the pack.0 -
I had a lie-in listening to a podcast in bed and then putting on a face mask and then a facial serum.
I was doing it as I'm still feeling under the weather but I might start doing that every Sunday morning from now on. Very relaxing.:)
I am doing some laundry now and about to watch the political shows from this morning. I might switch them off if they are just banging on about Brexit!:rotfl:
I had the new Pizza Express vegan pizza that I got from Ocado for brunch. Yummy! That is all I have had so far.
I have some leftover soup for later. I'm sure I will have more than that.:DYou can't beat a lovely soup, n crunchy bread, in this weatherHM soup and crusty bread is one of favourite meals in cold weather.
Yes, I agree. It was just what I wanted when I got in yesterday as it has become much colder!:A0 -
Egg sarnie lunch scoffed while listening to local radio garden phone in, it wandered off into cooking snails from your garden:eek: I'll give the part of garden cropping a miss

Cup of coffee + two choc digestives:o

Good evening everyone,
Can't say either Peston or Jarvis Cocker do it for me but each to their own;):).
My sister popped round for a cuppa and a catch up this afternoon but apart from that it's been a quiet one!
Did manage to bang my arm where I got my jab which was painful to say the least and it's still throbbing some hours later, my sister arrived just as I had bashed it so came in to be greeted by me turning the air blue:o.
Nothing to prep for dinner apart from some veg, the temperature is falling rapidly after getting no higher than 8C today so I'm glad I've made stew. I might just need to add a dumpling even though I've got mash as PN has mentioned them again and given me a notion:)0
