I used to make a chilli/wrap stack in a cake tin when the boys were at home, using the wraps like lasagne sheets topped with cheese sauce and baked. Looked and tasted fab but not very CFO friendly as it made lots.
Just had a slice toast with crab paste so definitely a beige meal though I did top it with a sliced tomato.;)

.... toast with crab paste ...

I love this! I've always got a jar in the cupboard, Shippams. I topped up just before Xmas with two more just to make sure I had enough in case I fancied this over Xmas. So I've currently got three jars.

While I love crab pate, which uses the white meat, that can be a problem to source (Xmas 2016 I specifically went to Asda twice to buy it but the shelf was empty both times, 16 mile round trip x2) ... so Xmas 2017 I had crab pate on my list again and then thought "why bother - that crab paste is just as good and doesn't have a Use By date".

    :)

Shippams here too:). Tesco don't sell it so hadn't had it ages but I got an Asda order in the run up to Christmas so got four jars. First one opened today:)
  • Smoothie and then toast with Marmite.

I'm probably going to make lentil and veggie soup for lunch.

  • Got the colours in today for lunch - toast with smashed avocado and tomato slices (brown, green, red). To be followed by an orange.

I love wraps as the base for a super-quick pizza, you need to have the wrap placed ready on the pizza tray/baking sheet.
Just preheat the oven to around 180 degrees for a fan oven. Prepare your wrap just as you would a standard thin crust pizza.

I spread mine with tomato puree, always, as the base, then it's usually a choice between grated cheese, sundried tomatoes, fresh spinach, anchovies, cooked ham bits, cooked chicken bits, salami/sliced chorizo/pepperoni, olives.

I quite fancy one now, for tea, having written this. If I do make one, it will be anchovy, sundried tomatoes and capers, possibly with a bit of onion on as well.

Edit - only five to seven minutes in the oven, hence 'super-quick'. Keep an eye as the edges can burn quickly.

Back to normality today, yesterday's eating out & CFO meal later consisted of sandwiches & more sandwiches. I like them but think too many is not a healthy full time option

Cold & windy, stayed in and p0nced around trying to get photos from PC to TV, failed and gave up

Lunch was part baked baguette, 'cos I'd scoffed all the bread yesterday, filled with grilled bacon, lettuce & tom

Dinner, beige option of baked spud with tinned tuna & mayo filling. Could be a side salad with it, feel like I should have some veg stuff to atone for yesterday

Looking out of window a nice brown stew & dumplings would be ideal, but haven't got one handy

Some nice ideas for things to do with wraps been posted. I have never thought of using them to make a sort of lasagne and it is certainly something I will try.

I had an appointment this morning, and a friend came with me so we had lunch out at a very reasonably priced pub. I had a lovely chicken breast with a stilton sauce, rosti potatoes and veg. I couldn't resist the crème brulee with shortbread for dessert :D.

I think I will have cheese and biscuits if I want anything later (which I probably will). I've got some cheeses that are too good to use for cooking or toasted sandwiches still left over from New Year.

My vacuum sealer is being delivered later today so I will have a play with that :).
