Today I've just had two wraps, with felafel in them. Different fillings. Just one felafel to eat now, might nuke that with chips in a bit.
Wraps? Falafels?
Rubs eyes in disbelief - that's a bit 21st century eating for you Pastures:rotfl:
Currently eating that pear compote I decided to try - with dollop of yogurt. Verdict - nice....0 -
Breakfast beans opened the other day on toast.
Lunch spicy chicken and cheese toastie.
Tea roast chicken, Yorkshire pud, roasted potatoes, cauli, and carrots, with gravy.
Chopped up a fresh pineapple, bought from lidl, eaten half!!:D with a whipped yogurt pot, raspberry corner with blueberries in.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0 -
I cannot work it out at all, very strange. Is it supposed to be like this or is there something amiss?0

Everything has gone to pot..it changed me to the new layout with no warning and I have always used the old style one
You would think they would warn us
Anyways...after ending up not having anything last night, tonight I have cooked something:eek:
Bearing in mind I haven't been in the veg drawer in the fridge for over 2 weeks...I have used LO half a mouldy onion, half a mouldy red pepper, a very bendy carrot and a mouldy tomato. Fried it all up in olive oil with 'some seen better days' garlic, chilli flakes, turmeric, cumin, black pepper, a dollop of tomato puree and a tin of chickpeas and some frozen spinach.
I am not sure I am going to eat it but I can divide it into 2 take away boxes to put in the fridge for tomorrow or later in the week.
It's a start and a healthy one'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought
And I ain't got the power anymore'0 -

Felafels I first encountered in the mid 1970s at some hippy festival/fair on the big local common where I used to live. Sandal wearing, tie-dye shirt making hippies... freaks.
But felafels are OK .... although I wish they were "better than they actually are" - they're one of those things you fancy, until you eat it and then you come away disappointed
I think they're probably best when encountered as part of a big buffet table, when you can take one and move on ..... not when you've got a whole bunch to scoff through.
Wraps.... I've never got on with them, I find them chewy and tough to eat, but for some bizarre reason I bought another pack just before Xmas. Mr T ones, smallish. They're not as chewy as the bigger ones are. Now the pack's open I have to eat them all of course....
I've just had a cheese/tomato/salad cream wrap
Three down ... maybe three to go....0
