Good morning everyone,
Cold, dry and trying to be sunny here. I'm just about to take advantage of my slot for Ovo's 1 hour's free heating.
Today the examiner and I are checking and signing off the account for the group I support. I'm hoping it will only take a couple of hours. Lunch is tbc and tonight I'm making this JO recipe Aromatic veg broth | Jamie Oliver recipes for dinner.1 -
Catch up day today after an almost completely non-productive one yesterday. Washing moved round (thank goodness for heated airer), swimming, grocery shopping, tomorrow’s lunch prepped, some Christmas planning, kitchen and bathroom floors hoovered and mopped.
Tuna and sweetcorn melt wrap for lunch. Roasted butternut squash, feta, cranberries and pecans tonight with olive ciabatta. There was cake during Christmas planning 😉1 -
Not sure what the weather was doing today other than grey as I didn't go out, at least the forecast of snow for Thursday has now been replaced with a dry but cold day.Another pottering day, his lordship and I sorted the drawers in my dressing table and tidied a wardrobe, he wasn't much help!I made a couple of mini quiches using tortilla boats instead of pasty I had one with some salad. @Brambling, my roommate has been trying to do her homework with our youngest cat trying to help her with the keyboard. The other cat tried helping me make up the bed this morning. Tasks always last longer when you are having "bonding time" with the furry creatures!2

It feels much colder today. It has been so mild this winter so far. I have my roll neck jumper on. I meant to put my warmer leggings on too. I will remember tomorrow.

I cooked a paprika flavoured vegan steak last night (that I left in the fridge last night) so I might make a toasted sourdough sandwich with lettuce and cucumber. I will go out and get some mustard in a minute to go with it to top up my vitamin D while there is a faint sun out there.

Good morning everyone,
A sunny but cold one here today. I'm meeting up with a friend for a sandwich and a cuppa at lunchtime so need to finish my morning tea and get my hair dried and some slap on!
Audit went smoothly yesterday, I'm always glad when that's signed off.
Making this tonight Folded egg and rice with easy pantry sauce recipe - BBC Food I'll steam various veg to go with it.1 -
Sunshine and clear skies again, it would be a really nice day if we didn’t have that chilly wind.
Tax man finally got around to reviewing my account and notice of a small but expected rebate in the post today

Cold and bright, proper winter’s day, but gosh I felt the cold at 7.20 a.m.
Took the last portion of sweet potato and ginger soup from the freezer plus a cheese sandwich into the office for lunch. Used LO roast butternut in a pan hash with gnocchi, feta and balsamic with some rocket tonight.
Just started watching celebrity Masterchef, have a feeling the new judge might annoy me…1 -
JKS I think the bbc have edited it so she is the dominant one. I recognise one of the contestants and that is because I'm old enough to remember Blue from their early days.
The blue sky brought the temperature down today, when I went out at 6pm I had to defrost the windscreen. It said 3c here but rose to 5c in town then dropped back coming home, town is only two miles away. I'm glad I don't have to leave early for work anymore 😁
Prawn and avocado roll for lunch. Salmon risotto for dinner with a few prawns LO from lunch
