'A's are definitely overrated :) "good enough" is really important! I'm glad the place was good, earthie, so sorry about the luggage.

Thanks for the words of encouragement and welcome back.

My students arrived at the weekend and they are nice. Play with my children all the time which is just brilliant.

My kids are enjoying the hodge podge of childcare I've arranged. I think this week might be quite stressful though. House struck by lightening so no internet or phone engineer on Saturday. Teaching Observation and house inspection by the university company on Friday. Aiming for a B+ obviously :) so I'll try to get organised so I feel relaxed:
-fill in current paperwork for teaching
-fill in extra paperwork for observation
    - check Homefile
    -tidy office
    - some cleaning

I can't wait to get internet back!

Yes we are all fine. Thankfully just a Big Bang and nothing actually set alight. Still no internet.

Children had a good day playing at a relatives whilst I taught, and then took them to the cinema this afternoon "paid for" by the students excursions money.
Almost caught up with teaching paperwork and lesson planning. So off to get an early night tonight and back to it tomorrow.

I'm trying to keep my chin up, really I am.

Still no internet so I'm at my MIL to get a bit of peace and use internet. BT have made a really bad mess of the whole thing, promising routers and 4g and just actually leaving us with nothing. It wouldn't matter exept that I'm teaching and I like the internet to vary the lesson activities.

I think I have spent too long with my students - almost 3 days straight now. One of them is lovely, and the other is verry arrogant. I have had to correct his attitude a couple of times today, never mind getting a please or thank you out of him. He has already told us that he tells his parents whet to do and what to buy him, cook him, where he will go etc. His mum put down on the form that she wanted me to stay with him the whole time if he goeas out of my house, but didn't book this 'service' where I do excursions every day, just 3 times per week, so I have said he will have to stay in some afternoons. He rang his mum and she changed the forms for him so he can go out with the second student now. This will be much better as we all need space!

I am really struggling to work on OHs business without internet so I will try to go to the library tomorrow.
