Lodger sounds like a bit of a pain, but hopefully he'll settle down now.

Glad to hear you're working out a method of security for the children that doesn't involve you sleeping on the floor in their room - that's not good for you long term!

Sounds like you've got a very busy weekend coming up!

    Hope that lodger settles down.
This is exactly what puts me off having another lodger.

Thanks for the wishes re the lodger. It did improve after that, no more demands and he said it's great, but we just need to sort a tv somehow so haven't made a profit yet.

I have come me down with something this week and really struggled. Felt so tired and achey but couldn't really sleep when I went to bed. Mixture of a virus and just having too many complicated things going on!

Depending on your wifi, would on-demand stuff on a pc/laptop work?

Surely the lodger can sort their own TV? Heating is always more of a personal thing, but if it wasn't advertised with one I'd have told them they could organise and pay for it! Both of our old lodgers just used their laptops and used the main TV if they needed to.

    Hope you feel better soon!

We have a spare tv just no way to get it linked to an Ariel. We bought s WiFi booster and the last lodger did on demand, but the new lodger doesn't want to use WiFi. He switched the booster off!

Worked my two hours this morning. Part one of my complicated weekend play date plan complete. Have another boy coming after lunch, and then we have a community event to go to after that. For Sime me time I'm planning a walk on the beach when the kids are with oh.
