I am hoping someone invents a plug-in thingy (a technical term) for aerials like they have for broadband. I used to have the broadband wires going all over the house (what a mess) tried wifi but that wasn't that great & kept dropping out but it's been great since the broadband plug-ins & all the wires gone. My next favourite request would be for a tv with cordless headphones.

You can pick up indoor plug in Ariels for less than a fiver, just grab him one of those and that!!!8217;s about all you can do.

The trouble is I need a 12 foot mast since we went digital. Personally I'd rather have the lower number of analogue channels that were actually watchable than the 70 digital ones which may or may not be.

Just a quick update from me whilst I'm waiting for someone to appear!

    Health
My eating has been fantastic and I'm enjoying eating healthily. I've been exercising every day on the assumption that something is better than nothing but most days have got really into it and have made good progress.

Worried a little about the children. Both having a few issues at school. Parents evening tonight though.

    Sleep has been pretty good.

    Wealth
Ds1 needs new school shoes as the ones I got in August are about finished. I'm getting him trainer type ones as he can wear them until summer.Cost £12.

Ds1 and 2 booked on crash swimming course £20 each for 5 lessons. Worked so well last time and probably last one for ds1. The rest of Easter we will do free activities (week 2 we are at cent. Parcs for 5 days, £500 contribution already paid.) but we won't spend when we are there.

Lodger seems happy st the moment.

    Will do banking later.

    Life well lived

Must make time to do more activities with the kids somehow - feel like I need to broaden their world a bit as they slip into technology and football!

Looking forward to the Easter break :)

    Earthie, just 're-found' you!!

Subscribed and will catch up :)

    Edit. Phew you've been busy.
In brief i think you get so much done, i thought i was busy and have no where near as much going on as you. you need to be a bit kinder on yourself.
Also have a DS who grows like a weed who does lots of sports. If you have a local sports brand outlet place nearby i often find things in there. Got 3 pairs of boots in the next sizes up for £7.50 per pair and got more or less that back on ebay worn.

    Hi Brodiebobs :)

Haha I probably bought them off you :)

Great couple of days. Yesterday was a 'get things done day' caught up on all of the cleaning tasks I still had outstanding for the week, and although a tutee cancelled, I headed up to church for a service as I won't get to go over the weekend.

Today has been a roaring success as well. Kids did a bit of exercise with me this morning, then some puzzle type things, met a friend in the park for a walk and picnic, went to a community event with free food, and then went to ds2s football training. Now back home and chilling out - great nsd and lots of fun times had.

I'm planning nsd for the next few days too. I'm not sure about Monday. We havent decided its our only family day all together - we might go for a day out to a nearby mini theme park thing, but it costs £40 - maybe a bit too much and a park and softplay would be just as good - not sure!

Edit - just finished banking for March and we are down to owing £8, 524 on the mortgage - this means we have saved £3,343 since March.

I'd have liked this to be £4200. Still to add to this I have the income from the lodger that I've not yet banked, income from my second job that I've not yet been paid for. I'll also have more to bank next month as OH says the business should be able to contribute again after taking a break for 3 months :( and also I'm working 4 lunch club shifts next week.

I've also found out that I'm having a two week two student placement in the summer so that will be an extra lump sum in.

    The battle is still on!

Sounds like life is well lived. :) For Easter Monday, the theme park sounds fun, but if you guys are off to Center Parcs for the second week of the hols it's not like the kids are missing out?

    Happy Easter!
