Search function and double post problem

I don't know if this is connected but it has happened a few of times from the forum.
When reading a thread then using the back button on IE11, I get taken back to my home page instead of the page I was viewing prior to reading the thread, it doesn't matter how many different pages I have viewed in between, it goes to home page. This has only started in the last couple of days and only when using the back button from a page on the MSE forum.

I have noticed that I get the duplicate message when I quote another post.
