Might be to you, but e-Buyer is a first class outlet and offers a great range of products at very competitive prices.

There must be a good reason why e-Buyer and other companies charge more for NI deliveries.

It might be a breeze to use, but with download speeds slower than for 56k dialup on my 6MB plus connection it bites the dust because of the time involved.

Incidentally an excellent conversion route to H264 (full quality with a fifth of the file size on average) can be found using ShellCompress 1.5 from:

    http://shellcompress.zwobot.com/

I use it to dramatically reduce TV recording file sizes made via a Freeview PCI TV card, whilst retaining video and sound quality.

Yeah I got the Aldi one too, in silver. Main selling point for me is that it has a built in FM transmitter so I don't have to mess about with leads in my car

Not all companies do charge extra to NI;) Argos, Tesco, Play.com, Amazon etc.......... all seem to be able to do it;)

Say you live in Chesire, part of the UK, Yes. And ebuyer say because you live in Chesire we are going to charge you £10 extra, even though we are only sending you a small package in the post that costs no extra to send to you, we just discriminate against people in Chesire cause we want to;) How would you feel
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:
  • I picked up a pink MP4 from Aldi for my daughter today as I prefer the reassurance that you get from buying locally. Aldi are great if you ever need to return items. The price, FM transmitter and 3 year warranty made this a very easy decision.
  • Have got a relative in another county to collect the Goodmans MP3 video player, as they have all sold out in my county!
  • Was going to buy my daughter a ipod nano for christmas, but have looked at this thread and am wondering about the Goodmans 4GB MP3 Player with Video Playback.
The only reason i was going for the ipod was because i have had one for years (not video one)and have found it so easy to download tunes on to via itunes, will i still be able to download from itunes onto the Goodmans, if not, is it easy to download too, as not very good when things get too technical.

Sorry for the long post, any help would be appreciated.

    Goodmans player - Ipod Nano

    Lada - Rolls Royce ;)

Stick with the nano you know it makes sense, far superior player / interface and easier to use, plus the fact it has that show off ability that all young girls like;)

Available at present from John Lewis for £80 if you use a certain daily telegraph code for £20 off £100 spend;) and free delivery too at present.

Alternatively if you want it personalised Apple store online do free laser engraving which is very nice too;)

Yeah i know what you mean Steavymp, the ipods are lovely looking and all, but she is only 9 years old, but if it is all too fiddly to use would prob still go for the ipod.
