which bank is that?0 -
            premierfella,
The payment is not by standing order, and does not come from a bank but a pension provider. I have no control over the date they choose to pay it.
The good news, however, is that when I complained to LLoyds about it, they offered me £15 compensation (roughly the lost interest). I'd recommend complaining.O G  Somewhere on the South Downs

            Hi folks,
I am new to this website, and wondered if anyone could help me.
I am interested in openning the new Alliance & Leicester Premier account, so I can get the £100 sign-up bonus.
Does anyone know how long you have to keep the bank account for (once you have received the £100) before you can close the account without a penalty?
Thanks!!0 -

From memory, I transferred to one of these last October - it took around 15 weeks for the £100 payment to be credited to the account. A month or two later I transferred my SOs/DDs elsewhere and closed the A&L account with no penalty.davidwheeler wrote: »I am interested in openning the new Alliance & Leicester Premier account, so I can get the £100 sign-up bonus.

Sorry if this has already been posted. I went back 5 pages of forum and couldnt see it.....
Alliance & Leicester have re-launched their £100 cashback incentive for customers who switch their current account to an Alliance and Leicester Premier Current Account. That's £100 cashback on top of the Quidco cashback for switching to a Premier Current Account.0 -
            You'd get £50 rather than £45 applying via topcashback.0

Hi, I work for myself, and get paid in US$ by a USA company. I have a Business Account set up with Lloyds. My question is, what do I need to set up in order to get the best exchange rates, and charges for my monthly incoming payment, and it's conversion to £.0

Still enjoying my Vantage account after a few months, and am now about to get into the 4% interest bracket.
Great account!0 -
Am I right in believing that if my hubby opens the A & L account through Quidco or Topcashback he will receive £145 - albeit approximately 3 months later?0
