Lunch was a bacon roll followed by a hm banana muffin. Tonight we're having hm steak pie (from the freezer) with chips and mushy peas.0

We were out this morning so decided to eat out. So we had our main meal lunchtime and will have something easy later.
We both chose steak - I had mine with a jacket and DH had chips. The steaks were too big so we each bought half home so will do something with that this evening for dinner - maybe a steak sandwich!

Have given up trying to serve the two portions of curry and rice that's in the freezer at the same time for us, getting a bit fed up looking at it, so I just nuked a portion of pilau rice and the tofu curry portion. CBA defrosting a flatbread.
Just spent £24 in lidl on food and have no real idea what I've bought.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Really fancy boiled eggs and soldiers for lunch, OH will have scrambled eggs on toast. Tonight's dinner will be chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce (last tub from the freezer) with some sort of savoury rice and some veg. Might do a microwave syrup sponge pudding with custard as well.0

Didn't need any dinner last night so the steak will now be dinner tonight. Will make some chips and use up the last of the mushrooms.
Made some carrot & lentil soup for lunch today so that used up the last of the carrots.
The only waste before going on holiday tomorrow will be a few baby plum tomatoes (only because we don't like them cooked!, otherwise they would be grilled and had this evening!!!).
