Caramelised onion tart with walnut and parmesan crust recipe | delicious. magazine (deliciousmagazine.co.uk)

which I'd been promising myself for a while. It was a lovely recipe to make but caramelising the onions took ages so I ended up eating very late.

The ankle actually never hurt that much but the painkillers  were like woooo. Annd obs that why ankle didnt hurt. Anyhoo  Tonight we are having gammon, which i hope to stretch, chips and egg.

Welcome back @arielgirl hope the ankle is now mending well.

Tonight was jersey royals, carrots and cajun chicken breasts. Accompanied by some karaoke from the neighbours a couple of houses down where the 'kids' are having a party. So far we've been treated to both Sweet Caroline and Three Lions.

We had a mixed fish thing. Also courtesy of M&S.
Calamari, tempura prawns, mini thai fishcakes and scampi with salad, hm delia lemon potato salad and some dips.
    It made a nice change.

Last night was pizza whilst watching the footie.
Ridiculous the young men getting abuse for missing penalties. Would love to see the idiots behind the keyboards step up and do a better job.

Last night I had beef roast dinner and tonight was chicken roast with the leftover vegetables from yesterday. Also had some celeriac dauphinois to go with it and froze some too.
