Pork stir fry for Monday has now become chicken stir fry as that's what I have in the freezer.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Lunch today will be tortilla pizza using up the last of the cheese and some tomato sauce from the freezer.

Dinner tonight will be pasta pesto with roasted baby toms and crispy lardons, together with some garlic toast made with half a baguette I found in the depths of the freezer.

Quite pleased that we've managed to last two weeks without doing a food shop - as we usually go every week. Definitely going tomorrow though - fridge is completely bare....
  • Dinner tonight is left over beef bourguignon that i made yesterday with all left over veg and potatoes made into bubble and squeak kinda thing with some yorky puds for DH to put the beef in x

When I got up yesterday I was looking forward to Friday Evening and really fancied a Chinese takeaway. Once we were home and took the dog out along the muddy country park, I had changed my mind so we had actifry chips, eggs, beans and sausage.

The Chinese won't be happening tonight either it will be home made chicken curry, paneer kebabs, rice, Indian snacks and poppadoms.
  • We will have hotdogs in part baked baguettes, we went to look for the fish and chip van on Thursday but couldn't find it. I had to open a jar of hotdogs to feed my beloved on. So now I have hotdogs that need using up, we will eat some today, the last ones will go in a chicken casserole in place of chorizo.
    Chin up, Titus out.
  • Adventurous lunch today for us, I had some red peppers, cherry tomatoes and red onions that I added some slivered carrot to and roasted in the oven last night and we had some of it in a sandwich with pesto spread on the bread and a layer of baby spinach leaves too.....was bloomin' gorgeous! Supper tonight is in the oven now and is a savoury turkey mince casserole (using up freezer stocks) which has loads of veg in it and I'll serve it with some Yorkshire puddings I made a couple of days ago re-heated until they're crispy. I've blueberries and strawberries in the fridge so if we want pudding they will be it with some low fat Greek yoghurt.
