Hope you're both soon feeling better, Islandmaid.

My job for today is to cook a big batch of chilli - planning to use 3lb mince.
I also have 2 beef joints to cut up into slices and dice and bag up for the freezer.

Dinner tonight will be the last of the best Xmas pork (I will have 2 bags left marked 'OK' and 'scrappy' after this), new potatoes, carrots, cabbage and some other veg that I can find in the freezer.
  • Lunch today is hm minestrone soup from the freezer, with crispy bacon bits and a bread roll.

Tonight we're having sweet and sour pork stir fry (pork bits from freezer), with rice.

Friday night = Pizza, but I'm not very hungry so may not have it?.

Last night I had wholewheat pasta, broccoli and pesto. I just fancied it, but, as always, it failed to deliver.

Dunno why, but I often fancy pasta and pesto, but it never tastes as good as I want it to. So that's that meal off the menu again for the next few months.

I was supposed to do HM tomato soup today, but the lupus decreed otherwise, so Mr LW did us cheese on toast with fried eggs on top, and I'll do the soup tomorrow.

We're having takeaway tonight and a meal out tomorrow. I am responsible for providing food on Mon/Weds/Thur next week so have decided on pork stir fry, cottage pie, and gammon with egg and chips.
