I am at WI meeting tonight so early dinner for me. Baked spud, with salad and cottage cheese. The OH has a chicken breast and whatever he fancies with it.0

I took a big salad to work and had that for lunch, still on my own tonight. I made some granary rolls and made one into a vegetarian hotdog with ketchup and onions and had it whilst I watched the football. Lots of dinner badges by the time I had finished.0

Chicken thighs in a creamy herb sauce - rice for the men, veg for me (mix of leek, mange tout and broccoli)
Edit: Above is pushed to tomorrow as DS is off to watch footy in Hyde Park - replacement dinner - posh burgers, salad and wine :beer:Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
£300/£1300 -
I'm making cannelloni, mushroom and courgette based, with added chicken for OH and DD, going to use YS tomato and herb sauce to coat it, and salad and olive bread to accompany0

I had a lovely chicken salad out yesterday and we got some pasties from the farm shop we've discovered close to the new house ay will be for our main meal today with some pan fried courgettes from the plots.0

Tonight I'm doing fajitas with my home-made seasoning, pork for the OH, re-fried beans for me - peppers, mushrooms, onions and cheese for the both of us. Salsa, sour cream and guacamole all from squeezy bottles that live in the fridge (I've made salsa and guacamole before - and although they're much nicer, they're not any cheaper, and hard to make in small enough quantities to make it worth it.)
I'm going to try cutting down his portion slightly to get 3 meals out of the pack of meat instead of 2. Extra veggies to make up for it!
I might prep some home made rolls to bake tomorrow, as I don't have much to do today. With a bit of cheese, they'll make a lovely lunch.0 -
DH is making lasagne today.Spend less now, work less later.0

Enjoyed my baked spud so much last night, have decided to have another tonight. Instead of cottage cheese I will scoop out the potato and mix with strong cheddar and onion and pop back in the oven to melt. Will have this with fridge raider salad bits left over.
OH will have another chicken breast. He has very simple tastes and is a very fussy eater so would be happy to eat the same thing every night if I would let him.:cool:0 -
Husband home today. I grilled a chicken breast each for him and daughter. Served with mashed potatoes mixed with spring onions and salad. I had tuna and egg. We had this on Saturday and being superstitious I thought it would work.......0
