I have stripped and remade DS’s bed, brought in washing (jumpers) ironed them and stuck them on maiden apart from the not dry zip up (thick) cardigan which is drying in front of a radiator. Ironed everything else too.I have resewn 2 buttons on grey trousers but, this time, I have used stronger thread bought specially. They are post buttons and I flick them off when unfastening them because I am ham-fisted with them. And there are three! I have been to town and done various errands including buying straw for Benny, his hutch has been refilled and I have put rubbish in all three bins - nice to do it in daylight. Stuff all back in shed and hatches battened down. Welcome back, Charlies Tribe. You'll get there very quickly if you tackle the most obvious problem in each room while you do a week's worth of Level 1 on the lists. It really works - and the kids can help. However I'm crawling with the ball and I've: made the bed; fed the birds; put out recycling; WM x
1, but other than that our lists of today's jobs achieved are remarkably similar! I've also stripped the superking and double and remade the superking, trundled Kelpie around the block a couple of times and made about 100 Christmas cards from the ones that I've been given by a couple of people.Better is good enough.0 -

Valli, thank you for this week's thread.
Finished off the week by doing very little.
Generally though I'm really pleased with my progress this week. The living room & pickle's bedroom have had a proper deep clean and declutter. Our bedroom and the hall/stairs/landing have been properly cleaned. (The hall/stairs & landing didn't need decluttering), the bedroom will be decluttered as per my bullet journal schedule.
Thank you to you all for your support and encouragement.

Thank you for the thread, Valli. A few more items have left the house (and the things which came in were consumables). Generally the place looks no worse than it did on Monday. All beds have been changed, shopping done and meals planned until Wednesday and I'll settle for that.
I really hadn't expected the beginning of the year to be as busy as this.0
