September is also when Thomas Cook from MAN do flights at OK prices.....
Especially if you fly to SFO, and home from LAX.....
At least u get to see lots of rock on your way to Vegas!!! :D:D:D
Granted we flew out at end of Sep last year to SFO with ThomasCook, but at £369 return (MAN-SFO , LAX-MAN), flight was good price!

Sounds good to me. I wonder if we will end up being neighbours again this time.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

and thanks for all the advice!Sadly no comp rooms for the Mlife offers but savings i think were 20% (think for end of august 31-6sept) was £750 including resort fees(think it was like $1053)

its either go to vegas 31st aug-6th sept ( or a day or so either side) or go in november first week ( 3rrd-10th give a day or 2)

As for prefered depature airport, im open i can get flights easily enough down to london (manchester and dublin too) gee soo many options!

and thanx for the advice about the heat stevie11 . in our last trip in 2016 in june i think it got to low 40C's so like 100 odd F

    Thanks again for everyones input!!

    Bobby,

Would you not consider a cheaper hotel to keep costs down ?
If you were to stay at the Luxor for that week 31-7th September the price would be $658...about £470 total.Resort fee included.
    Plus a $25 food & drink credit.
We have stayed at the Luxor a few times and it!!!8217;s fine for us.Also nice to try different hotels.

Bobby, good suggestion above there are cheaper deals on hotels.

Anyway if you are set on dates and MGM then it looks like the BA package is your best bet currently coming out at £1027 for 31/8 to 7/9 from Man. You have to factor in cost of resort fees plus getting from Lgw to Lhr on the return leg. The London option is over £200 more.

The benefit of booking the package is that you can pay a deposit, the downside is that you find a better hotel deal you are probably locked in on the package price.

    Good luck.

Bobby, have you looked at ex INV?
Assuming you can get there as easily as you can MAN etc then you may see some cheaper options due to reduced (£0) APD.

Looks like our last resort fee free hotel has now succumbed.

Main Street Station Hotel Downtown looks like future bookings now have a near $17 per day resort fee added.

I would hope we wont be charged this, as our September booking was made last December.
