Thanks Elsien for recommending Tinypic!
bellajack, re your piccy not working - can I just ask....did you insert the Tinypic code using the 'Insert Link' facility on here? (Some bits of code were repeated at the start and end which caused it not to work). If so, you don't need to do that, just copy the code from Tinypic and whack it straight into your post.

Second your comment about scarves Miro - I have a 'collection' ahem! Some are many years old and some from holiday trips and some from CS - I've always liked them as I'm tall and need something bold and chunky jewellery is not always appropriate whereas a scarf can pull an outfit together. Pashmina type wraps fit in a small handbag and they're great for chilly offices that have the air con on full blast! My criteria is colour and condition! dont care what shape!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Sorry Miro - yup - can see it
- TBH it would irritate me too - any chance you can unpick the seam and 'juggle' it a bit??
Just want to say :T and a big thank you to silvasava for inspiring me. At first I thought 'no chance' but after hanging up the offendingly seamed dress in constant eye line I decided to try taking in the seam by 1/4 " tapered gently at each end and wow...what an improvement! My over sensitive sensibilities have been appeased.0 -
Well done Miro - can't keep a determined gal down!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Yes I think so? Copied and pasted the url but using an iPad mini so a bit difficult to see. Will try it without the link facility next time - thanks for the tip!0 -
Today's haul: a huge BN mug for 50p, a lovely Next blouse for £2 and 3 books for £1.
I thought the blouse would be ok, but when I tried it on at home it actually looked amazing. My Mum thought the same, now it's hers
ETA: the same style as this, except it's light grey with a white pattern, and the embellishment on the neckline and cuffs are in silver. Selling on eBay for £15!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Went out shopping with my aunt in JL ( I know that it isn't a cs). Found some thick tights at a clearance price.
3 pairs of 40d navy for £2.55
2 pairs of thick wool tight from £10 each to £3 each.
So 5 pairs of tights £8.55 instead of around £30.
Took some books into a charity shop.
Also did a book swap at work so three for free. Plus a book swap with my aunt. Another three for free.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Whoop whoop the cs curtains I bought for £6.99 appear to be silk. I've done the match test so for £6.99 I have a pair of full length silk interlined curtains. Goodness knows how much they would have cost to have made.
Today dh and I popped to the £1 cs and our haul involved 5 men's ties, a brand new boxed 3D image maker for mobile phones currently selling on gadget websites for £14.99 which will go in dd Xmas stocking. 2 large cut glass fruit/ trifle bowls which I will use for fruit . A brand new ladies Peter haan short sleeved jumper. I'd not heard of this name before but a quick google showed them selling for £60 upwards. Dh also got a pair of jeans so not bad for £6
We then popped to the usually quite expensive age uk shop and got some designer looking brand new cushion covers for 99p for 4 and a large Kilmer storage jar for £1.49.0 -

Nice find, I love little tops like that...so useful, especially for hols and travelling as weigh so little and take up hardly any room. Can be dressed up or down, cool in hot weather and you can always pop a camisole or vest top underneath if chilly. Lucky mum!0
