Hoping the walkers find a home Pollycat, they can be fearsome expensive. Might Red Cross collect from you? We're sharing your cautious approach - Himself & I both having BMIs that strongly suggest we avoid this virus as firmly as possible without actually bolting all the doors.5

We're sharing your cautious approach - Himself & I both having BMIs that strongly suggest we avoid this virus as firmly as possible without actually bolting all the doors.I hope they do too, DFV.I hung on to the 3 wheel walker to use for my 2nd foot operation.I seem to have a full collection of 'aids' in my garage in addition to the walkers.2 shower stools - I need to hang on to these for my sister's 2nd foot operation as we've learned they are very useful to get out of the house when on crutches.A 2 tier wheeled trolley that was great for organising all my stuff when I couldn't walk - meds, books, glasses, phone, charger, TV/recorder remote controls etc, Sis will need this too.I still have the zimmer from the hospital, I was going to take it back the week of the lockdown.I would hate to just skip them so will make a good effort to try to ensure someone else will benefit from them.Right now the garage is low priority, we're in the process of redoing the whole garden. I have a dismantled shed and greenhouse waiting for the skip.I hope by the time we order it I'll have found a home for some of the stuff.4

Can't wait to get back chazzing, am getting serious withdrawal symptoms now!), is due to open next Tuesday so I may brave the big wide world next week. All the rules, instructions, directives etc make me feel very anxious about going out. And....boo hoo....I have just heard that my beloved 84 bus to Skipton via Ilkley and Otley will no longer be stopping here due to the changes they have had to bring in due to the virus!

Not a charity shop bargain, but a Freecycle one, which is so exciting I have to mention it! Recently a neighbour had erected a canopy over his back door and at the time I thought it a really good idea, especially as the bottom of the woodwork around my own door has started to rot due to dripping water splashing in one particular spot.
One evening this week on Freecycle the very same canopy - this but in white - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gr8-Garden-2005599-Protector-Translucent/dp/B07BGWBCMS/ref=asc_df_B07BGWBCMS/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309904165679&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15295682116057031253&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1007055&hvtargid=pla-977647365992&psc=1 and still unopened in the box. I applied for this very quickly and was delighted to be offered it immediately, picked up from just five miles away. My partner, who will be drafted in to put this up, thought the engineering standards very high and was really impressed. It will be great to get this up before autumn to offer some protection when going out to the garage or the bins. Really chuffed with my totally free bargain!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Just to give a heads up to those with donations ready to go....
My local hospice have set up a donation station for their shops & to enable big numbers of bags to be received. Its in the town 6th form college car park, open 6 days and they have 2 shipping containers with 5 or 6 warehouse cages. Volunteer brings you a cage, you unload car / boot / van into cage, they take gift aid details & take cage away - no contact & sociallydistanced, and proving very popular!
I found out from our local free newspaper's Facebook page, so worth checking your local paper/ websites / Facebook pages.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Only Barnardos open here so far. No kids clothing. All sent away to make room for other stock, which was at least a third formal work wear and evening dresses.
What do they think people need to buy right now?? Um.... Not office attire and evening wear.
Kids clothing and shoes, mine have both gone up a size in everything since March. People on lower incomes (large amount locally) rely on this sort of stock.
Local bakery finally open though, treated the kids to gingerbread men for the first time in over three months.Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

DD went round the charity shops after her physio, she was after a couple of mens shirt for a project she is doing. The prices were higher than pre lockdown, £5-£14 for m&s etc. So she came home empty handed.6
