Miro, pendleside hospice charity shop Colne, right beside the library & carpark. Honestly it is 20 minutes on from Skipton but for a whisper teapot, it might be worth a day out? Phone no according to google 01282 863033 but you want the shorter of the two Denby teapots not the seeet pea one....
They may be open tomorrow...
As for is it a fake, have a look at the colour of the china on the base. Sometimes you get a stunningly-like pot but upend it & it’s just wrong. I admit, carrying a saucer in your handbag is somewhat desperate, but if it helps?!
Happy hunting all!0 -
This is the striped cardigan I bought yesterday. I wanted to find out where it was from as it had no labels in it. Seems to be on sale in the US, but not the UK...

Thank you for your coat advice ladies!! (Sorry for not getting back to you all straight away, but it was a busy end of week for me). I had a happy half an hour with some parcel tape and the coat came up brand new. It's now in a purloined suit bag in my wardrobe, awaiting a dry clean. Sam is heartbroken that his new bed has disappeared and has vented his frustration on me by surprise attacking when I tickled the belly. Little monster0

I have done it again, and I wasn't even looking for any bargains. I popped into Banardo's to give them three bags of donations and found two absolute beauties.
The first was a pair of Nine West patent leather platform heels in black. Brand new condition - £4. Very nice but...
The piece de resistance is a pair of gorgeous Everlane loafers in brand new condition in a lovely blueish grey- £10. I am absolutely delighted with these as I was looking to buy a pair. As you will see from the link I'm including below of the exact style, they are very expensive. https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-modern-loafer-black?collection=womens-loafers-oxfords
Very very very very very happy today!!0 -

Everlane crops up a lot when people talk about ethical fashion but I have never actually seen anything of theirs, what a little gem.
Yesterday I got a Boden blue and white striped shirt, collarless with a frill down the front and on the cuffs, £4 and a Next mock layered blouse in sage green with a floral design, £3, it is a bit big on me though so I'm not sure what I will do with it.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Wish me luck.
I'm off up to (what I call the village) to donate a load of stuff to the hospice and post 6 parcels for my ebay sales.
I'll have a wander through the 5 shops there so might find something to tickle my fancy.
Laredouter - great bargain on the shoes. Colour sounds lovely.0 -
Dolly84- I often get tops that are slightly baggy because of the way they fit on me (hour glass). I often just tuck them into my jeans or trousers and I find that really flattering on me.0

I've done it! :j
I've done it!
Broken my duck (figuratively speaking).
I bought an Ice watch from Lighthouse shop.
Seems brand new, still in its cube with guarantee and paperwork and sticker on the back of the watch.
It's one of these:
https://www.ice-watch.com/en/watch/ice-mini-blue-extra-small-000745
It's a child's watch, water resistant so will be perfect for my holidays at the beach to stop my expensive Citizen Eco-drive getting gunged up with suncream and sand.
Fits perfectly.
It needs a battery but still a bargain at £2.50.0 -
YAY! I'm so happy for you Pollycat- I was thinking of you today and hoping that you got your mojo back. That watch is a great bargain for your holiday!! The colours are so fun! Really I need something similar as I got a Tissot flamingo for my 21st and I don't want it to die, but it is so beautiful I can hardly bear to take it off.
I was very naughty today and went into the charity shops when I took my Everlane loafers into the cobblers in town to be fitted with rubber soles. In my defence it was all reasonably priced, and I won't keep it all (as I will explain).
From Sue Ryder
A sleeveless black tunic with a pleated hem by Vero Moda- £2.75. I really like this, it'll be great for my holiday to Malta in June.
A crinkled Cos wrap blouse in navy with frilly sleeves and hem- £3.75. This is really gorgeous and feminine, will be appropriate for the evenings in Malta.
From Banardo's
A collarless longline shirt from Cos in a lovely dusky pink- £3.00. More Cos haha; I just love this brand. The colour is gorgeous and I thought this would look lovely tucked into a skirt or with my skinny jeans and Everlane loafers.
A pretty blue floral Oasis vest top with a lace trim from the V&A collaboration- £2.50. I wanted some of this collab the first time around but I sadly missed it. I am really happy with this as it will be lovely for Malta.
A DKNY tshirt in black with a lace yoke (?) and sleeves- £3.00. Very pretty and nice quality, again perfect for Malta.
A BNWT 100% silk longline blazer in black by Cote a Cote- £4. I noticed this yesterday and liked the look of it, but was whisked away by my Dad before I could try it on. I tried it today and I feel very Parisien chic (which is apt considering it's a French brand). Will be perfect with a white v-neck tshirt, a pair of jeans and loafers.
From Helen Rollason-
A lovely print of a Phillip Martin watercolour of Amersham in a lovely distressed frame- £2.00
A purple and beige floral Pierce Fionda formal dress- £8.00. This is too big for me and I didn't actually want it, but I never carry any cash on me and the ladies in the shop informed me that she couldn't take card payments for under £5 (I could have sworn that you weren't allowed to do that now but meh). I just picked this up off the nearby dress rack and figured that I could just sell it if I couldn't find anybody who wanted it.
I must seem like such a hoarder, but I promise I sell loads of stuff online. I actually only buy charity shop items with the money I make from selling things so it keeps my spending in check and allows me to put my Next wages straight into my ISA.0 -
Sandstone Bird Bath £15 from the Tip Re-use shop.0
