No, not This Morning as I would have been at work. Possibly the Tom Kerridge one? (I watch so many foodie programmes that I never remember them either!)
I have a feeling that it was during the day (which is why I thought it might have been This Morning').
ETA: I also have a strong feeling that it was no later than last week (which would eliminate TK).0 -
Hmmmm ... this is really making my head hurt!
Last Saturday was 27 January, and Mister CJ was still ill a-bed with flu so it's unlikely to have been then, as we definitely both saw the programme (whatever it was!) together, downstairs, in the dining room. Also on Saturday Kitchen on 27th Jan they were drinking BEER and not wine. I remember thinking, ooh, that's different.0 -
I'm tea total so cant really join in with the wine glass chat xx
I found a lovely pink hoodie maine in dr b and bnwt fleece pj for £3 in cr also a pair of workout leggings for 49p in dr b all ready worn some of it xxonwards and upwards0 -
Wasn't last Saturday 3rd Feb? That's how I refer it it anyway.
And there's 2 cookery programmes on Saturday morning - Saturday Kitchen on BBC1 and James Martin's Saturday Morning on ITV - they overlap.0 -
Checked all the recent foody/wine progs suggested and not found anything
Anyhoo, to save poor CJ's hurty head...a change of subject
Had a bit of a splurge this afty in the big Sue Ryder shop. Found a vintage Mulberry 'Multizip Travel Pouch' in black Darwin leather priced at £10. The leather is beooootifully soft, (unlike the stuff Mulberry use these days!), and it has the maroon Mulberry Tree lining. Came with the original tags and dustbag too. Had just a tiny graze in the leather on the back but I've given it a good seeing to with leather restorer cream and it's worked a treat. Will be perfect for holidays and travel but also is a good size to use as a clutch bag too. Just found a similar item on a vintage bag seller's website and it sold for £195  Not that I want to sell it.......0 -
I had interesting finds today at £2 each. I found an incredibly heavy and fully lined winter / spring trench coat, a bit like the coat Meghan Markle wore at the press conference for her engagement:
The brand was TYLER, which I've never heard of - nor can Google help me with the answer. I thought it was British as it was labelled size 14, I tried it on in the shop over several very chunky layers of clothing and it fit nicely. Now I'm back home I'm wondering if it is actually US sizing, in which case its more like a UK size 18
Plus a summer linen Per Una floral skirt (14L but I didn't try it on, thinking its likely to be a very low-slung job given that I'm a "12").Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Just been in Oxfam whilst kicking my heels waiting for my bus.
Found a BNWT M&S sports bra in my size.
Was a bit unsure how supportive it would be so asked to try it on.
'Well if you do, we can't sell it'.
'Really? Why not?'
Well, it's underwear' (in a 'are you stupid?' tone of voice)
I pointed out that I could walk 100 yards up to M&S, try as many bras on as I liked and they would still put them back on the rack to sell.
And that I could understand it if it was knickers or bikini bottoms but not a bra.
She just stood there, with a 'I've spouted the company policy and don't know where to go from here' look on her face.
'Tell you what, I'll leave it'.
Is it me?0
