Brakeburn stripy long sleeved t shirt, size 12

Casual Friday green t shirt for son1 (he tells me this is a sought after brand??)
I like this brand but don't see much of it in charity shops.

Your bargain would have been perfect to go with my denim pinafore dress.

MovingForwad/Sayschezza - well done on the furniture buys, there really is some excellent furniture to be had second hand.

Yesterday saw me getting a couple more things we didn't need. DH got a red Lazy Jacks t shirt, barely worn by the look of it £2, I got a navy blue Crew Clothing hoodie with 1/4 zip, kangaroo pocket and a GBR badge for £3.29, it is a size 12 and I do prefer my jumpers in bigger sizes but having tried it on I quite like that it fits differently to my others.

I am trying to be discerning in my purchases but even this approach isn't stopping me spend! On Friday I checked the £1 rail in Scope and purchased a lovely tunic in stretchy material by Sandwich. They aren't a brand I know much about so I was shocked at the type of prices they charge for their clothes (£90 odd quid for similar) and I'm very happy with my bargain. I'm currently looking for the little Paris kitchen cookery books but instead I'm finding some others that a can't resist. Last weeks was Sophie Dahl, unread, for £1 and today was a new Tom Kerridge pub food also £1. They have obviously never been opened as the spine did that noise new books make.

I then spotted a fab tartan wool handbag by Ness. I love their bags and this was a small cute one for £3.95 similar are £50 on the website.

Not a cs but a Facebook find was some 90 x 90 laura Ashley curtains immaculate £10

A Radley black leather cross body bag. It is a bit scuffed but I don't mind that especially as it was only £3. It was actually priced at £5 but when I went to pay the woman at the till got the padding out and noticed the zip was a bit iffy so insisted on reducing it, whilst yanking the zip back and forward. Once I got it home and was more gentle with the zip I think it will be ok for the moment!

I could do with a new bag, id love to find a ness bag in a charity shop! :A

I have to confess, aside from buying a fascinator that I saw in the window of BHF I haven’t bought anything else. My mum goes into them and when I was growing up id be bored and wait outside hah. Now some of my friends go all the time and im feeling inspired. Like, we went to a wedding on Saturday night and one friend had on a French connection dress, new with tags bought from charity shop, for nine quid! :T

Do you get much plus size stuff in there or not?

I couldn't answer this as I usually look between size 10 and 14.

Even in my town with a fair amount of shops, the prices and choice varies.

You'd just have to start going in and looking.

I would say that it's certainly possible to get great bargains just like your friend did.
