I just raised a ticket over the postcode (characters between 0 and 1) problem, which arises on the daily Gold 70SB surveys. Within a very short time I received an e-mail saying I had been credited with 70SB, even though I made it clear that I wasn't claiming anything and was just reporting the error! Still, 70SB is always very welcome.0

Nice you got the 70SB for free, but doesn't do much to improve their image as useless f-ckwits who don't listen to their users.0

You don't have to buy a gift card. I went through this process last week, and found a very helpful chap on Amazon help, who explained about the £1 taking time to be refunded, but said that I did not have to use the Mastercard against a particular order, I could just add it to my credit balance. When you go to the page View Gift Card Balance, you have the option, right beside Redeem a Gift Card, to Top Up Your Account, and you can specify the amount rather than take one of their offered options. So you can top it up with the remaining £9, and when you get the £1 back you can top it up with that as well. Then, of course, you can spend your credit balance on anything you want.
I wish I'd spoken to your 'very helpful chap on Amazon'. The three people I spoke to told me there was either a problem with my name, address or postcode not matching the details on the card. Nothing was mentioned about the £1 and they couldn't explain why the amount Amazon claimed I didn't have was in $.
All sorted now though thanks to all who helped.0 -

The £1 is per card so although it is best not to let too much accumulate on any survey site going for a £50 card should mean you could redeem £49 in one go and if you forgot to claim the £1 that was left you would still be over £4 better off than going for Amazon vouchers (Even going for a £25 card and forgetting the £1 is a gain of nearly £1.70)0 -

oddly that happened the other day, like you I decided to wait and later in the day they showed up. Fingers crossed they do the same this time - but you always have the option to not verify (and it will expire after 7 days and the SB go back on your account - or just not verify and cancel when you have the extra points to get another denomination voucher)0 -
