So a leather pouch for a saw has been made as well as 8 jars of green tomato relish.

Made 2 birthday cards for family members and a thank you card from stash of card making bits. I don't making many cards but was pleased with this result.
This brings my makes to 23, so 27 more to make if i am tor each my target of 50.
So quite on here these days, where are you all?

Just seems to be us. Haha.

I have made another leather lap top case. A bit bigger that the last so I can keep a note book in it too. It is for work.

Next is a leather bag. It’s going to take time to make a pattern too.

Have just finished 3 little owls in their Santa hats, made from scrap wool. Lovely to knit and ready for the tree. Total now stands at 26/50.

I have hung some pictures as well as had a bit of a clear out to the craft room.

Feeling like I have managed something useful today at least.

I am attending a dress making course next weekend so will hopefully make at least one thing then - and it’ll be a big thing. Haha I have paid for the course but all fabric and pattern are included. (£75 - including the pattern 4.5 m of fabric and 1.5m for lining. So really can’t complain too much as it was £6 a metre).

I have a massive list of things i want to make before Christmas. It’s probably not going to happen. We’re already too behind to make sloe gin or cherry brandy. I’m planning to set off some raspberry gin as I’ve found a recipe for a quick one that should be done in two weeks.

Hi there, I 've just found this stash busting thread. It's something I desperately need to join, as despite my good intentions, I m doing no good at all in tackling my own stash alone. In fact I keep buying more stuff as I often can't find what I need in amongst the other stuff!! Here's hoping you'll be continuing on through 2019!

I have sold one of my sewing machines. £55. Not masses but this has virtually covered the cost of the sewing class.

So far I have a lined bodice sewn up. Need to turn right side out and press. But it’s looking like a dress already. Feeling pretty positive.

Other than having sold a surplus sewing machine I haven’t busted any stash. However I have been inspired to open another dress pattern and use up some fabric from the stash.

We’ve not set off any sloe gin or anything yet so I think I’m very unlikely to manage my target this year. Hey ho.

Once it’s going hopefully it’ll make for a good start to next year.

So I can’t add another to my total.

Yet.

However I have a dress bodice lined. Invisiable zip in place. All hemmed.

I need to finish the top of the dress / zip and slip stitch the lining in. Not exactly a small job. But I’m so gosh darn thrilled to have got as far as I have.

It looks like a dress. Yay.

So I still haven’t finished the dress. It is on my list.

I have used up two sheets of stickers. Obviously took up loads of room. Sir the craft table is now cleared. Hahah

I have also downsized a load of freee kits form magazines and such.

I definitely need to work on reducing my stash. I made a small start by making some decorations as gifts for Christmas.
