Ebay never remove negative feedback merely on request and without actually seeing both sides of the story it is never easy to pin the blame on one party or another so best left alone. The fact remains tht with feedback that low it will be difficult for the OP to attract buyers as many buyers see no further than the percentage.
The feedback is also another reason why the OP needs to proceed with caution on this auction. If it goes to a sale he either faces selling at a few pounds or getting a neg for refusing to complete. One more neg, for whatever reason will make his account unusuable.

Is it not possible to post a 'phantom' item in the correct "cars for sale" section, but put a message on there saying don't bid on this item...then post the link to the actual item in the cars and accessories section
