Add a note that you can't accept paypal unless the buyer is prepared to arrange online trackable delivery. If you are really pressurised the only thing I can suggest is:

Get a signed receipt for the car, photocopy it and post the photocopy to the buyer using recorded delivery.

Only way I can think of for trying to satisfy the paypal rules on signed for delivery. Paypal are such a pain, but they don't read any complaints, so a recorded delivery number in the box may be enough to satisfy them that delivery followed their rules.

[Still think you can cancel bids and then cancel auction BTW.]

That's a great shout and one I shall consider should the need arise.

I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Just a quick word on Paypal - i've had cause to phone them before, and they've always been very helpful so I wouldn't worry unduly about this!!! Best of luck x
