    Morning everyone,

I ended up sleeping on the sofa as the hound was very unsettled with all the wind and rain,it was so noisy. She wouldnt walk very far when I took her out this morning & kept looking around.Lots of branches on the ground in the woods at the front but no actual trees as far as I could see ( but that wasnt very far due to nervous Ly1a :D)
Our recycling bins were emptied today and just as we got back 2 neighbours paper bins blew over so I moved them to a safer spot. One of them was on the phone in the window and waved her thanks-she sent me a CCard and wrote 'thanks for being such amazing neighbours' :D,and bought me some flowers for taking in all her parcels,as she's almost never in.Got to admit I was getting fed up a bit ,especially as I was under the weather. She runs a business from home and there could be 2 or 3 a day, plus my other young neighbour often buys clothes online and they come here too.

As I am retired, I also take in neighbours parcels, they are always very grateful & they reciprocate when I am out. Fortunately none of them run businesses from home (against the estate rules)

NMLC glad there has been an improvement in your DM, & that work are being good.
    Sorry youve been ill Speky.
Hugs to all the other poorlies too.

Went to see my DB2 yesterday,he's still off work due to the atrial fibrillation he had ,but he's seen the consultant and had lots more tests, scans etc and there is no sign of it now so they've put it down to the chest infection he had.He has to wait for the DVLA to respond to the consultants letter as he drives for a living. He was on the phone to Sis -I_L when we got there. She was ringing to say her work have refused her a day off when she is 60 in the summer :(,they were hoping to have a long weekend away,he will have his 60th too a month before her.As DGS would say 'Meanie pants'!

Definitely MEAN! Unfortunately by doing the right thing she cannot phone in sick!?!

Not sure what to have for tea,did a tuna pasta bake yesterday as I'm shopping from my cupboards till DH starts his next job, though I didnt buy masses of stuff for Xmas.I'll sort my freezers too.

Hpe you have the best day you can xx

Just about to have chilli for dinner - hope it hasn’t got too hot mind you that is what sored cream is for!

Positive vibes to one and all

    Mrs SD:)

So, how are we all? What have I missed?
Well you've assuredly been missed - sorry you've been so poorly.

Nannywindow I'm much the same where cars are concerned - as long as I can get in and out with minimal assistance, and it can haul my wheelchair.... but in my case, it mustn't be red. :D

Please excuse any anomalies in my posts for the next few days; my new notebook came today - replacement for the 10 yr old netbook that has gradually been getting hinkier and hinkier - so I now have no choice but to get my head around Windows 10.
I've already taught Cortana a few choice swear words. :rotfl:
Now I know why I don't have Satnav; I'd be throwing it out the car window at speed! :rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
