Read the entire thread, cheers for the updates, brilliant news for you, I hope the motorcyclist has to re-pay all the costs themselves0 -

Thank you. The only argument was - The motorcyclist said I stopped in the middle of the road; I said I did NOT stop but slowed down for the roundabout. They were trying to reach an agreement with Hertz on 80-20 or even 90-10, but Hertz said no.
The solicitor said there is a slight chance that I will have to come back again if he decides to appeal. Well, it is ok. I quite like Belfast actually- people are friendly and becautifuk scenery.
Thank you all for your advice and support for the last year.0 -
Good to hear your experience midimaomao. Looks like Hertz had been fully supporting you and all you had to do now is to fly there occasionally?
Did Hertz also paid full expense for your trip? I would be tempted to claim back any lost of earning from the motorcyclist as well.0 -

I had to fly back to Belfast for the 3rd time in June 2019 as the motorcyclist appealed. Won the case in the end and Hertz has now closed the file from their end too. Yes, Hertz fully paid for my expense and my days off work, which I assume they will recover from the motorcyclist's insurance company.0 -
so the motorcyclist came over the blind brow of a hill and ran into the back of you on the downhill section?0
