It sounds like you've got plenty of adminny/letter writing things to keep you resting this afternoon - hope shoulder is feeling better soon.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Is the mould on a bit they are going to remove? If so - nothing to see here - move on.

The mould is on a bit he'd have to touch, and put his tape measure on. I'm not letting that by, not for any reason! In fact, yesterday's postponement by them held good, and he didn't show - I was just *worried* he might
Handwriting to Sains took forever, I'm not kidding - I did the draft on my laptop over two days or so, so I was happy with it, but it takes a *lot* of space compared to printing. Getting the paper, resting it on something, a proper envelope, which of the many Sains addresses to write to, stamp, the glue on the envelope had gone so the sellotape was called in, then getting changed to go out, it took foreverutterly ridiculous
Still, it felt a real achievement to have done it. So my February ta-da list (i.e. done) is as follows:
- checked old flashdrives, used them as a backup to backup as they seemed okay.
- witchhazel info is downloaded and ready to use, thanks to SL on here **beams happily**
- nice coconut cake recipe is also downloaded and ready to use.
- texted crazy cousin a few times.
- texted and spoke with lovely bro, now I need to buy his birthday present.
- sent facebook appeal money to niece in law for her hospital. Used a kitten postcard
- wrote in detail to Sains, making it "without prejudice", as I was taught to do way back when, telling them when I was diarising it, giving them every reference I could without breaking security. Now I'm back on the case after feeling bad and being busy, they don't get away with it any longer.
If you've read that lot, you'll notice that there's nothing about cleaning windows or windowsillsand once again, that task is put off for another day - which is how they got so dirty in the first place, I don't like the job
Still, it will definitely be done by the time of the re-arranged appointment.
Washing machine and dishwasher did their thing today too, I'm happy with what I achieved today, getting up early wasn't a good idea but it worked out okay in the end2023: the year I get to buy a car7 -
Well done for handing Mr S his derriere!4

Thanks Alchemilla! It felt good to get it into the post, I must say. And more notice seems to be taken of handwritten things, coincidentally.
Went to my Healthy Walk this morning, in the best sunshine of the day. I'd overslept, so I was lucky they actually walked in the direction from which I was arrivingIt's a slow potter, but very nice.
Not done a lot since then, to be honest - I was very cold, I've just pootled all day. I may get going and actually do something before it gets dark

Hi KC - thought of you this morning when I went outside and did a spot of gardening (WFH day!) - tackled the moss tribbles that seem to have a liking for the paved area outside the back door - also did a spot of weeding. It was brilliant and sunny but oh so brisk! Coming back inside, the house felt gloriously warm by comparison!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Morning!
Right, I need to catch up with myself a bit - I did very little yesterday after my walk, though I *did* take 10 minutes to clean the worst of the mould from the windows to be replaced - but that was it.
Today, wm has been on, chatted with sister including admin details, so now:
- dw on.
- start the money shuffle, by sending money to Principality.
- do French accounts - I've set up the spreadsheet, it won't actually take very long.
- buy Experience Day.
That's all online, basically, but even the 10 minutes cleaning yesterday has hurt my shoulder again, I can't do anything vigorous. I could use the coconut recipe I foundthat would be nice. We'll see. Got to do the actual items I've outlined first.
