Thanks Alchemilla, it really will be
another lovely thing is getting the "invite" to BackThen, a private video sharing place? The private videos are of the baby, of course
No idea how they make their money, but its free to me, so it feels like a real privilege.
Today ... washing machine*** is outside drying on the line in the wind, and I've downloaded lots of statements that were waiting for me. I had a walk too (this may all be repetition, as I thought I'd written this on my thread, but I haven't, so maybe I put it somewhere else, apologies if so
Hmmm. Things to do:
- several emails, including for the little Space group I joined. Still can't really email another cousin, that I'd like to connect with, as the other cousin hasn't released general news of my aunt's death, though it was nearly 3 weeks ago, it would feel hypocritical to make contact while ignoring family news that I know and she doesn'tbleeping families.
- put washing out. Securely, with that wind out there!
- clean out my little dehydrator - I left some dried spinach in there ... a long time ago, lets say ... and there's mould. This is the kind of thing that got left undone during the inner ear issues, I'm afraid. Revolting, it's why I'm so reluctant to do it, but I know it's so necessary!

Your washing machine is outside drying on the line in the wind...!?!?!.!? Where do you buy your pegs for that???

corrected! I answered a phone call and left the draft unattended for hours, as it turned out.
OTOH, the machine got really dry2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
You have reminded me I'm was going to ask landlord if I could put a washing machine up in the orchard. On windy and sunny days that would be better than hoping it will dry or using tumble drier. (I pay a fixed amount for electricity so the cost isn't an issue I just think line dried is better)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
I agree, line dried is much better - took me a while to remember the whole "washing machine on the line" thing, so I got twice the amount of fun out of it
This morning did *not* go the way it was supposed to. A longer Healthy Walk run by the council takes place every 4 weeks starting at the local common, and as it's the same sort of length I walk with my sister, I decided I have to join that one. Except there are three car parks at the common, and they met at the one I couldn't see. Never occurred to me, either! I'll know for next month, and I did get *some* form of walking in. Huh!
This afternoon: focussing in on the house - getting ready for the workmen re the double glazing, and clearing the bookcase so I can cut it back on one end. Ridiculously repetitive posts about this, which is why I also write about anything that takes my fancy, otherwise I'm *so* bored by all this!
Coffee, late because of my attempt to go on the walk. Frugal brownie. Yum. And not very frugal the way I make it

Your brownie is probably still frugaller than a bought one - and you know what has gone into it!

Bet your brownies taste much nicer than shop bought ones too.

Hi sweeties - both those things are true, thank you! Gluten free flour, cocoa powder, butter, sugar (some of which is subbed by ground almonds, the non-frugal bit) I think that's it2023: the year I get to buy a car4

...keeping the ground almonds in a jar is less frugal than using them!
