The squirrels were great, the photos not so much, they bounce around so quickly. I did get a 45 second video, but I'm playing catchup on it all the time. The squirrel was only about four feet from me at one stage, so I might put it up on youtube anyway :) I'll post on here if I do.

So, this morning, I've done a *lot* of washing (pressed a lot of buttons on my washing machine, is what I really mean :) ), dishwasher's finished a cycle, two emails written, other emails sorted, even SB is playing in the background a little bit. Lovely weather! So the washing might well get half dry before evening.

Only problem rearing its head so far is that I wanted to place a supermarket delivery order yesterday, and it wouldn't accept my credit card .... not sure what's going on with that, thats the next thing to check.

And then. Then, I might finally pay attention to my mobile phone contract. Wow!

So true, RT! They literally roll right out of the way :):):)

Erm, but I forgot a couple of things I needed to do - 3 letters, to be precise :o so I haven't done the supermarket order, and I haven't looked at the mobile phone contract either, oops. But I was doing things that needed to be done, so thats okay.

I was also staring out of my kitchen window quite a lot. Four feet away, a fox was sleeping. For hours! It was fun :)

It's lovely to see wildlife so upclose to where we live isn't it?

Our outside security light kept coming on the other night and I looked out to see what was going on. It was a badger in the garden under one of the apple trees, noshing away on windfalls.

Fantastic! I've only seen badgers a few times - always magical.

Turns out I was completely dozy about the supermarket delivery - I updated the CVV security number, and completely forgot I needed to update the expiry date too :rotfl: all done now, and I'm stopping with that. Enjoy the rest of the evening folks

Darn - I missed the party the other night - looks like it was a good one! :D

Hopefully the solicitor verified ID works - fingers crossed that's an end to it all :) xx

How lovely to see a fox asleep in your garden - magical x

Hi greent, yep, it was a good party :) and it went on long after I went to bed :rotfl: it got me drinking spirits again too :rotfl:

As for the ID, I'll phone on Monday afternoon, check that it's been accepted.

Today is pretty domestic, pretty boring - buy some frozen veg to do me until the supermarket delivery, cleaning the house, cleaning me.

I may do some genealogy too, integrating my mum's notes. Adobe are making me very wary - even with ID, I can't seem to save to my own computer any more, so I'm thinking about how to have safe access to my information. One thing I can do is join the U3A group that meets simply to use Ancestry - it's only a monthly meet, but it will keep me going uploading my family tree, for instance, and it will keep me in contact with local genealogists too. £7 a year, you know it makes sense.

Sounds fun. I envy you your U3A

My U3A is sheer luck, CBC, I'm sorry you're so isolated.

Bit of a win today at Waitrose. I decided to check my Waitrose card, and see if there were any offers online I could use. System's changed, and I couldn't find my card, but you can get a temporary card while a new one is sent out, take a photo of it with your phone, show the cashier, and presto, current offers can be bought. And one of the offers was buy 1, get 1 half price - on frozen broccoli, really basic :rotfl: and wonderful. Meant I got 1.5kg of good quality broccoli for £1.50. My card will be coming soon.

I've been sweeping and cleaning, on and off, ever since I got back :o oh dear, it was bad ... never mind, better now. I've certainly done as much as I want to do, so I'm just about to wash the dust off me :o

Also did SB, daft survey with lots of points, and although I've still got a lot to do to achieve catch-up, I've made some good inroads today.
