    Howdy!

Not posted for a while, basically because I haven't had much to post! Was coasting along waiting for payday to arrive and now that it's here - nothing has changed!!

DD for TV licence still hasn't been taken. Re-mortgage still isn't complete.

Talking of the re-mortgage, I've had to change a few things. Because of the way my current bank works and the length of time it takes for payments to be applied, I will need to wait until the DD taken on the 1st Oct has been applied to the mortgage account. This means that my re-mortgage can't be processed until 10 days after the payment is received apparently, so the process can't be completed until mid month. Bummer.

Also, I've decided to spread the term of my mortgage over 10 years instead of 7. Although this means I'll be paying more interest in the long term, I'll have lower monthly payments. I still fully intend on overpaying the maximum each month and clearing the balance at the end of the 5 years though.

It was a heavy September weekend (bank holiday up here in Glasgow), ate and drank way more than expected but was back on plan with food yesterday. Not looking forward to Saturday's weigh in but determined to be 14st by Xmas. Just need to try harder next week!

Will post again as things progress :)

10 weeks ago I set myself a target to lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks, well today is the end of the 10 weeks and I'm delighted to say that I've lost 16 pounds!!!

I've always struggled to control my weight but this time I'm determined to do it. I've got 2 stone to lose before I'm down to the weight I want to be. And I'm going to do it by Xmas.

    Next challenge - 28lbs in 14 weeks!!!

    :T Well done!

Thanks! Yes there's been a few hiccups along the way but got there in the end :).

Just need to stay sensible for the rest of the year and get the weight off, then I'll be a lot happier in myself.

I think I'm going to start a new diary on 1st January for Year 2 anyway, so this one will be set in stone from then, cheers :)
