I want to make the effort today to take all the Xmas clutter and tree down if I CBA. It's getting on my nerves looking at it.
TA I completely get that sentiment, not that I have a tree but I really understand what you mean. I hope you start to feel better soon and I really do think a trip to see the Doc may be in order.

Unfortunately ive had too many washer 'accidents' to be credible however I havent had a tumble dryer accident for a while.
What with all the toiletries, clothes that dont fit and useless gadgets I feel sad..yes the word is sad just sad that such a lot of money has been wasted when a nice card would have been just as nice...saying that, I love the Urban Decay eyeshadow palette my daughter bought me.

Csarina you could do an online shop to save going out, it would make life easier0

I would do an online shop if Aldi did deliveries......I have used Morrison in the past, but I was not thrilled with them. I will see how I feel at the weekend. My daughter would do the shopping but she has no way of getting to us, she does not drive and works.
OH has eaten his supper, did not want any dessert, so I will have to finish the fruit in jelly tomorrow.
Off for a shower and to read in bed shortly. I will fill the kettle in the bedroom so I do not have to come through to make tea later.0 -
Evening all another late post, time seems to have run away from me today.
Went into town this morning looking for some thickish knee high socks, ended up in Primani's childrens section, trust me to have small feet. Called in Li*l on the way home for milk, bread and some other bits and only spent just over £13 :j. Trying to keep a hold on my food spending this year.
After lunch I changed the bed and did 3 loads in the WM, the bedding is still drying on the radiators, as we still have rain ( can't remember the last time we had a dry day ) and storm Eleanor is due later .
Then went round to try to help elderly neighbour who was in a pickle, among other things told her again how to lock her front door. Tried last night too, when she kept opening and closing it about 30 times. I do feel sorry for the poor woman and apparently now they have taken her "calming down" pills off her.
Anyway came back to find a man from National statistics office in my living room doing a survey, I had forgotten he was coming. I cooked tea, rang Dad for a check in and then had a leisurely bubble bath.
Mr Fix It isn't feeling too well tonight and has just fallen asleep in the chair so I will wake him in a minute and send him to bed.
NMLC So sorry to hear the news about your Mum. I am sending healing thoughts.
Csarina Hope you and OH are soon on the mend.
FBO thinking of you
JackieO sending love to Frank and his family.
Dumpling Mr Fix It was sent to a dietitian a few years back and found she was bigger than him ! Sending gentle hugs for your Becky too.
I hope all the poorlies are on the road to recovery, please take care of yourselves.
Hugs to anyone who would like / need one. Take care all, hopefully I can post earlier tomorrow.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0
